Too many people make excuses to scoff at the guidelines provided by the Good Lord, because His Word interferes with their own personal agenda.

Every time we try to walk without Him in our lives, we fail miserably; even though many do find transitory success. I'm living proof of this fact. So I really can't point a finger at others without including myself.

We did NOT create the Good Lord for ourselves. The Good Lord created us for Him. His personal agenda will take precedence over ours in the end.

But, please, don't let my antiquated notions stop you imaginative folk from further discussing the matter of creating a 'folk religion'...

    Just remember the following quote:

"You can't shack-up with the devil and expect God to pay the rent!"
Aside from an ever increasing number of mortals who have willfully chosen to worship Satan and his minions, our battle has always been against the powers and principalities operating surreptitiously throughout this twisted world.

It is a great thing to appreciate roots and diversity. One key to keeping our uniqueness, will be to honour our diversity by maintaining it.

Canada, like every nation, could now use a national faith (the Canadian Faith), to bind us all together (with corresponding congregation centres). Teamwork is a key to success, and all people should work as a team.

The purpose of this article is to put forward the need for European Canadians to begin explicitly congregating as a group, and advocating on behalf of their ethnic interests, namely by embracing the European Canadian Faith, and congregating at European Canadian Faith centres/churches.

Some will argue that our existing Christian churches are adequate. Firstly, our Christian churches do not discuss nor celebrate European Canadians, whatsoever; secondly, we must recognize that Christianity, while it has many positive attributes, is objectively, a Roman version of the Jewish messiah. And so, it is high time we place emphasis in having faith in ourselves as a group through an European Canadian Faith.

The following is a framework for the "theology" of an European Canadian Faith that would be an independent subdenomination within a Canadian Faith:

    Sermon 1: Big Bang

Sermon 9: War of Independence - Canada remains (loyal)

Ideally, within the European Canadian Church, the American Revolution would be thought of as a civil war tragedy within the British Empire, where a better solution was to allow the British folk who controlled America (and Canada) their greater freedoms, and to have reformation within the Church as outlined here:

Prince Charles: Why we need a meddling Monarch (reform the Church)!

Instead of JC or Odin/Baldr you could call It the "Cosmos", ... but there's no specific Holy Book to go with that (although here are some good efforts: Cosmos Theology; Larger Consciousness System) and the issue with science is that we realize we're rising simians. Jared Taylor tends to end the American Renaissance conferences with "And may the spirit of our people guide you forward." At some point there needs to be a binding philosophy to unify us all.

It is unfair that we non-Jewish Europeans must continue to strictly follow a derivation of the Jews' folklore as our nationalist religion. The consequences of not having a religion to celebrate your heritage and protect your tribe can manifest itself in many ways, namely a lack of positivity and social cohesion for one's people and nation.

Lastly, comedy shows and music can be seen as a type of new age theology to add to the mix.

Let us go forward in creating the European Canadian Faith!
I’m reading Caesar’s Messiah right now. It’s causing a bit of cognitive dissonance to be honest because I identify as a Christian but at the same time I’m fascinated with history and scientific truth and love to explore a wide range of controversial topics. Thank you for the various links.

Tremendous thanks for your feedback. We do hope further discussion will lead to the manifestation of our 'folk religion' outside of forums. I'm hoping organizations like the British National Party will get a Jonathan Bowden-like figure to put together the "British Faith."

    Tremendous thanks for your perspective.

And now of course, for the response (please ignore it if you're a sensitive Christian):

The guidelines of "the Good Lord" seem to suggest that if the Germanic people go extinct through a combination of not reproducing and miscegenation, it's largely insignificant in the grand scheme of things, for all that ultimately matters to "the Good Lord" (at least according to most of Christianity) is the human soul and its salvation. I would agree with the author Joseph Atwill (see "Caesar's Messiah") that "His Words" were actually invented by creative writers working for the ancient Roman government (specifically the Flavian dynasty, during the First Roman Jewish war). There would have been quite a few Roman nationalists and Jewish collaborators involved. The original main intent of "His Words" were to quell Jewish rebellion. Later in the 4th century, "His words" were translated and tweaked so as to foist this religion, which had previously been illegal in Europe, onto the European people, eradicating their indigenous faiths along the way, so as to make things more governable for the reigning Roman emperors and later Monarchs.

Our goal is not to be brutal towards Christianity; in fact, we'll celebrate it as sacred to our folk. We will have the same critical leaning towards Paganism, in that we won't hesitate to suggest the stories of the Gods were just that: stories invented by our ancestors. Nevertheless, we will celebrate those stories as sacred to our folk, and if our members truly believe in them, or the Christian ones, all the power to them.

And so, while I'm not a good writer (I studied science in university, not the arts, and probably lost half my brain cells to booze over the years), I will try my hand at one more (likely discomforting for many) 'sermon', this one titled "Our Old Religions" . I welcome and encourage someone more gifted and diplomatic to takeover the sermon making .
We need a reservation system for our people and our own ethnic-nationalist faith, where we'll have sermons about our people and nations, real history, science, philosophy, etc., in addition to our older religions. Throw in some open bar nights, comedy club hours, music and dance, etc., and it'll be a cracker barrel of good times lol.

    The British/Germanic Faith

    Third Sermon

    Title: Our Old Religions

By John Smithwick, written November 26th, 2019, 7-9 pm EST, presented on Skadi Forum.

To begin, a short poem by Philip Larkin named "Church Going":

The late Christopher Hitchens referenced this poem as an illustration of how the transcendent can be experienced by all (including non-believers). Richard Dawkins recommends classical music in the same way.

Larkin was a self-described "Anglican agnostic". His agnosticism is clearly shown in poems such as "Aubade":

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDr_SRhJs80

We Germanics have a cascade of religion: at the base, our ancient Polytheistic Faiths native to our soil, followed by Christianity and then New Age (agnosticism of course, whether openly or hidden, being cherished by many along the way). A key issue we have today is that Christianity is still our nominal state religion through places like the Church of England and Church of Scotland, despite few of our people being interested (Church in crisis as only 2% of young adults identify as C of E).

One of the reasons why our societies may have difficulty in accepting our desired changes (i.e. to reform the Church into a relevant nationalist folk faith institution), is the simplistic power of Christianity. For example, as the Christian worldview goes: "The Lord is the key to your salvation, to everlasting life in Heaven. By believing in Him and behaving, your soul can be saved."

What can we of the Germanic Faith offer as a soothing vision? What is our simplistic power? Can the Germanic Faith offer salvation and eternal life?

Certainly, if that's how the follower feels best about it.

In other words, whatever works: whatever concept and name the follower prefers (as long as it's specific to our traditions and future outlook): "God, nature, the cosmos, etc."; "Odin, Jesus, Something, zilch, etc."; "Heaven, Valhalla, the extra dimensions/infinities of space and time, the ethereal, etc." All these things work within the Germanic Faith.

To end, as music is integral to our faith, a few songs (the Doobie Brothers, George Harrison, the Eagles).

We encourage our members to check out the new Danny McBride series "The Righteous Gemstones" - it can be funny, and at least the last 5 minutes of season 1, had a very positive Christian message by John Goodman about forgiveness. If you haven't heard of Danny McBride, checkout "Eastbound and Down".

And we hope everyone is enjoying the new Rick and Morty, Family Guy, South Park, etc. series this year.

Long live the Germanic People. Long live our Germanic Nations. May the light of Valhalla and Heaven shine down upon us. And may the spirit of our people guide us forward forever. Amen.

The British/Germanic Faith and Church, Fourth Sermon

Title: Why not the existing churches or UUs?

Post-Christian Europe: a survey of 16- to 29-year-olds found the Czech Republic is the least religious country in Europe, with 91% of that age group saying they have no religious affiliation. Between 70% and 80% of young adults in Estonia, Sweden and the Netherlands also categorise themselves as non-religious.

    Good morning Germanic family,

This morning the spiritual itch hit, and thus this brief sermon was whipped up. Feel free to add your attempt at a sermon at any time. Hope everyone is having a good week.

Today's talk is about our churches and a lesser known group called the Unitarian Universalists (the UUs). The UUs are not required to believe in God but only in a “free and responsible search for truth and meaning.” UUs assert no creed or particular scripture and their congregations include theists, agnostics and atheists. Among the milliard of sermon types they have, they occasionally include one on Asatru (Norse Polytheism), occasionally one on Christianity, occasionally one on evolution and cosmology - so would that not be the perfect fit for our kind?

Well, not quite. The one type of sermon the UUs never have (at least I haven't noticed one of this nature yet), is one on European people and their need to work as a tribe to ensure their continuation. The UUs will have sermons on Africans, Native Americans, LGBTs, and Jews (usually about their traditions, plight and suffering), but never discuss White people. Compare that to what goes on in a synagogue, where 52+ days a year, Jews congregate to discuss their heritage (mythological and real), and how to work as a tribe to better themselves and assert their influence.

How are Europeans supposed to rally when we don't have a tribal religion like the Jews? In our churches, we're supposed to worship an universalist Roman derivation of the Jews' messiah, where no discussion of our people and nations ever takes place, where Third World refugee and adoption programs often exist, and intermarriage with "saved souls" from across the planet is often encouraged. How can any of this lead to an European awakening? We can 'blame the Jews' all we want for helping to implement multiculturalism and mass immigration, but really, the fault lies on our shoulders since we don't have a national folk faith that inspires and mobilizes our people to act in their self-interest and at least vote for identitarian political parties.

Today we need a new National Faith movement for the European tribe.

May our faith lead us to greener pastures. Long live our folk and nations. Amen.

    Cool British Faith Progress ...

Good Evening British (and other) Volksgenossen (lol a German word meaning "fellow countrymen"),

I am in awe of how triumphantly our Volksgemeinschaft (lol 'people's community') is coming together! I think it's going mesmerizingly well! lol There was even, recently, a single "thanks" given for one of the sermons! Lol (Thank you btw Maelyrra). From that one thanks, I have no doubt that soon an avalanche of outpouring of support will flow forward as mighty as Niagara Falls from our beloved British folk! lol I am certain we will soon see British Faith centers erected on nearly every street corner; in nearly every city, in nearly every town! Lol British Faith hospitals (!); British Faith schools (!); British Faith supermarkets (!) - will fill our nations, from the highlands to the low, from sea to mighty sea! Lol Any day now, any day soon now, the Queen will realize the folly of Her ways, and get behind the British Faith 1000%! It's going to be EPIC!!! Lol If not Her, then definitely Her Son, our King to be, Prince Charles aka Chuck, Chucky, the Chuckster! Lol No doubt the Chuckmeister will come to our rescue as swiftly as the Valkeries fly, and launch a new age reformation for our people! As Supreme Governor of the CoE, Chucky ol' Boy will begin by redecorating our churches and placing an updated book on the pulpit (following our beloved HenryVIII's footsteps)! Lol God save Him, it's going to be glorious!!! LOL Next, he'll use His power to ensure the German Monarchy is re-established so they can resume being "Summus Episcopus" of the Lutheran Church - first order of business, rename the Lutheran Church "the German Church" lol, where a new German Faith will be worshiped as powerfully as the Sun shines each day! Oh my Gawd, it's going to be sensational British descendants!!! Come one, come all - see history in the making; a one time, one of a kind, absolutely mind-bending, totally soul-blowing event!!! Lol Don't miss out! My Lordy Lawd, British descendants what a glorious and spectacular time we live in, to be bestowed the gift of the British Faith, for one and for all, for time eternal! lol Praise be to our newfound glory! And let us end things with an aaaaahmmennn!!!!!! Lol When shall the celebrations begin btw?!? lol

Ahhemm, hemm hmmmm, hmmmm... lol ... where was I , oh yeah, back to reality and this evening's unanticipated (and unsolicited) sermon lol , but first one last quick aside:

"They said I was a dreamer" - lol

Wink The British/Germanic Faith, Fifth Sermon

Title: The German Faith Movement and Jakob Hauer

Hark Hark, the Lark by Schubert-Liszt

Hark Hark. It's the Germanic Faith Lark.

And hark hark, time to hound our poor German cousins over something called the German Faith Movement:

The roots, moreover foundation, of the British Faith actually originate in Germany (similar to our Protestantism, not to mention our genetics and language ). In 1930s Germany, there was something called "The German Faith Movement". You can read a partially accurate account about it here: https://en.metapedia.org/wiki/German_Faith_Movement

This movement attempted to establish a church with the same rights as others, that would exercise religion in a "purely German sense". It included a bit of paganism, philosophy, but mainly, focused on having faith in the German peoplehood and nation. It was going well until the disaster known as Hitler decided to (essentially) ban it. Hitler banned it because he didn't want to aggravate the existing Christian churches (which of course he needed onside for his upcoming war), and he didn't want an alternate voice (to his own) speaking on behalf of the interests of the German people (how considerate of Hitler ).

The leader of this alternate voice was someone named Jakob Hauer. You can read about him here:
    https://forums.skadi.net/threads/109...=1#post1293894

Hauer could have and should have remained steadfast on demanding rights for the German Faith, but coped-out sadly (undoubtedly because he knew he'd be tossed into a concentration camp if he protested too much). He ended up joining the nazi party, stopped participating in the German Faith Movement, and took up a comfortable professorship.

Interestingly, Hauer did try to re-establish the German Faith after the war, but the Allies banned it. On a similar note, Mathilde Ludendorff created the "German Confederation for God Cognition" during the same period - both groups basically had the same idea (just titled differently), and Hitler banned her faith as well for the same reasons. The Allies similarly banned her faith when she tried to resurrect it after the war (nice of them to do that while allowing every other religions i.e. Islam into the country ).

We certainly can't complain too much about lack of activism today by our German compatriots given they're still under occupation. By the same token, we can't complain too much about the lack of British activism, because we essentially have no voice nor control over our countries anymore. Our ((('frens'))) and other liberals have successfully taken over our media, education and legal system, and secret service thus rendering us powerless. Our churches offered next to no resistance, which is of course of no surprise since Christianity essentially has nothing to do with defending nor even discussing the British and German people.

And so, to end: let us go forward in covenant with our Germanic Faith. Let us create the equivalent of synagogues for our people so we actually stand a chance at preserving our folk and nations.

For the Jews who read this, here is the Lark song by Ignaz Friedman (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ignaz_Friedman):

You Jews have a long history in Europe and many of you look European, so I think you should sympathize and help create the Faith. I might create another sermon titled "Our 'frens', the Jews" to try and push this point. Anyhow, ...

Long live our Germanic Nations and long live our Germanic Faith. Amen.

Now I’m reading Bart Erhman’s book entitled Did Jesus Exist. The short answer is yes. I had read his book Misquoting Jesus several years ago and generally respect him as an expert in the fields of Early Christianity and the New Testament.

I still have family members who are firm believers. I've met many Christians in life, and I always try to remain as respectful as possible.

With regards to this new book you've found and the point you're making, Joseph Atwill (Caesar's Messiah) points out that Jesus was a common enough name back then, so certainly, I have little doubt that a guy 'similar' to the one described in the Bible existed, but it's the extent of the story that's been embellished which is the question. Messianic Jewish rebels were a constant source of vexation to the Roman Empire, as when ancient Judea rebelled, the bloodbaths that followed were supposedly some of the most damaging Rome had experienced. So they tried their best to stop that from happening (and perhaps created a religion out of the affair in the process).

I don't put down our people for sticking with their Christian faith, if that's what works for them. There is no "British Faith" church to go to. If I built it, they'd probably fire bomb it. I'm a member of the Asatru Folk Assembly, but I'd have to drive 12 hours to get to their closest hof. I don't mind hearing about Christianity, singing the songs - but if it's the only thing in the building - I can't flow with that - you see? If the Anglicans could just create a "British Faith" hour once a month in their churches, that would work, but I know they won't do that (in those buildings that were built by our ancestors for us - my founding English family settlers in Canada were Anglicans - arrived about 200 years ago)... so, I dunno, that's why I'm here lol. But this is a bit time consuming so, I'll have to hit the road again soon. But thanks for the conversation. Sad how isolated we are and I just lost my girlfriend because she wouldn't stop smoking indoors - couldn't do that anymore. Que sera sera …

I understand on the smoking issue and religion! Those are both tough and often emotional subjects. My faith has comforted me and helped me through some difficult times (just like smoking) and to no longer have either one leaves me feeling a bit destabilized. Erhman believes Jesus existed but not as the savior he is portrayed to be in the New Testament so he is not someone to read if a person wishes to strengthen their faith!
Thank you for the interesting conversation and Best wishes to you.
