The difference between Classical Marxism and Cultural Marxism:

"The Never-Ending Search for the Newest Victim Class

In a crucial respect, classical Marxism and cultural Marxism will always bear an essential, enduring commonality—one that explains a lot about today’s modern left.

Both classical Marxists and cultural Marxists see history as a series of struggles that divide the world into hostile/antagonistic groups of oppressors and the oppressed. Both seek out victim groups as the anointed group that will serve as the redeemer group. The victim group becomes the agent for emancipation in ushering in the new and better world. The Marxist must always, then, be on the search for the victim class which, in turn, must always be made aware of its victimization. Its “consciousness” must be raised.

In classical Marxism, this was simple: the victim group was identified by class/economics. It was the Proletariat. It was the factory worker.

In cultural Marxism, this hasn’t been so simple, because the culture is always changing: the victim group is constantly being searched for anew by the cultural Marxist. The group one year might be women, the next year a new ethnic minority, the next year another group. Today, there’s a hard push by cultural Marxists to tap the “LGBTQIA-plus” (People’s World frequently uses that label) movement as the championed victim group.

Thus, a cultural Marxist like Angela Davis — mentored by Herbert Marcuse — could stand at the Women’s March before a sea of young women in pink hats and recite a litany of popular grievances. In her casting about for victim groups, the former Communist Bloc cheerleader hailed Chelsea Manning, “trans women of color,” “our flora and fauna,” and “intersectional feminism,” and denounced “white male hetero-patriarchy,” misogyny, Islamophobia, and capitalist exploitation.

This is where today’s Marxists in America are toiling hard. They are working diligently on the cultural front. That’s where they are confident they can finally take down Western civilization and its Judeo-Christian bedrock."

On the surface they claim to stand for "equality" . . But they are really just opportunistic . . .

Sorry, yes it was a typing error. I am very slow at typing and suffer from tremors in my hands.
The big test over the next few weeks is whether Macron can survive. If he does then I do not think that his ambitions will stop at being president of the USA. He sees himself as an incarnation of the Roman God Jupiter. Christians on this forum need to consider whether this man is the 'Antichrist'. It beggars belief that with his policies of austerity for the masses (not for the rich) EVER made him electable.

Sorry, in the earlier post I meant to say President of France. Macron is one of the most arrogant of modern statesmen with a very autocratic demeanour in terms of how he communicates with the people. In view of France's revolutionary history it is a foolish persona to adopt. If he survives politically I feel that nothing less than the European Union itself would satisfy his grandiose ambitions.

It would be folly to try to seperate "classic marxism" from "cultural marxism" (see Þoreiðar's post), since the latter is merely the 'working strategy' of the ways to destroy nations and enslave the peoples laid out already by Marx.

While "classic communism" focuses on the "economy", it is not an economic system alone. The economy is just one weapon of the arsenal to destroy nations. It wasnt invented by the people to destroy the bankers, it was invented by the bankers to enslave the peoples of the world!

I do distinguish the two, classical and cultural Marxism, while the later is an outflow of the earlier:
- Classical Marxism: essentially class struggle of the wage labor versus capital owners.
- Cultural Marxism: An attack on cultural norms within a society. Class struggle is replaced with struggle of victim classes against the 'privileged' White males in functional leadership positions.

Marxism is merely a form of Jewish expansionism (Judaism). I owe it to the Jew Otto Weininger for this clarification. According to Georgi Plekhanov (whose works were acclaimed by Lenin), it traces it's foundation to Democritus (but at the same time, it expresses contempt for those philosophers. In it's conduct, it's virtually identical to ancient Christianity with it's intolerance, stubborn refusal to credit the ancient Greek authors (i.e. Plato), striving for world conquest, etc. Kalergi labeled it as "revolutionary pacifism". Like with the Western plutocracies, it puts pacifism before the fight, as the de facto end, not as a means to an end. Kalergi identified their goal as "one final world war". Marx was personally more inclined to Epicurus and it's hard to say how much of Epicurus' ideas were from Epicurus. We must keep in mind that the Epicurean paradox was attributed to Epicurus and that it's possibly been misinterpreted in the same way as Nietzsche's "god is dead"). Both Marxism and NS trace their foundation to the period of decline in ancient Greece. They were both revolutionary and monistic and distinguished themselves from the dualism of the Christian bourgeois world.

That may be so but one thing that we need to focus on is smashing capitalism for this evil system is enslaving all peoples of the world, destroying our precious eco systems and fermenting endless wars. This is exemplified in the military-industrial complex and the paid for parliamentarian whores.

Capitalism is a symptom, not the cause. The system surprisingly works, it's just that very few people are willing to renounce the material pleasures and retreat into world renunciation (which would prevent the tendency to make a big fuss over the exploiters), but if everyone were to do this, the world would become unsustainable due to worldwide indifference. Ultimately a balance between matter and spirit, body and mind cannot be maintained in a capitalistic system. And that is why it must go.

Keep in mind that the man who coined the term "military-industrial complex" was responsible for uprooting dictatorships and installing American democracies. Whistleblowers, conspiracy theorists, alleged members of some elite society or cabal will never get to the heart of the problem, which is to name the Jew. The phenomenon of world expansion is fundamentally Jewish. It has driven every empire which has come to assimilate the Jews.

To build on my reply, if it's acknowledged that the striving for power can be inherent to political systems, then it must also be acknowledged that the striving for power can be an inherent human trait. One wonders why books like Power by Bertrand Russell and What is Called Thinking? by Heidegger are the least read. Truman was correct in his assertion that putting an underdog on top would mean he would go haywire, whether he's a Jew or non-Jew.
