    The Year France Betrayed Europe

In what year did the country of Charles Martel, and his even more famous grandson Charlemagne, decide that the crescent is the wave of the future?

Contrary to popular belief it is not a recent development. It's not even a 20th century idea.

In fact, to find the first time France decided to completely disregard her own people and the interest of Europe at large and embark on a complete overhaul of one of her own cities for the advancement of the Crescent, we must travel back for centuries in time. All the way back to the year 1543.

What did the French government do in that year and why haven't you heard about it?
