    A Heathen Prayer

In ages long ago, we walked with the High Ones. We worshiped by Oak and Ash, on hill and glade. We knew the secrets that stirred our tribal blood, our voices called out to the heavens! Close were we to the magic of Nature and the elements.

Now, we are met again. Now, we have returned, and so may we thus be revitalized. O mighty gods of Asgard! Give us strength to meet every challenge. Sustain our spirit with freedom’s noble passion, for that which is right and just! Every-ready may we remain, to defend the blood and soil of our homelands, our family, folk and kin!

Let both light and honor direct our motivation, with that high born spirit of liberty, which must ever be our aim and birthright. May the holy Norn’s grant us their blessings, and may we always be aware of the god force within and without, as we likewise pay homage and respect to our divine gods in Asgard!
