I would think by age 30 , a child should be able to go without parental supervision

SOrry , I was just making fun of how that sentence first sounded to me

May be some 30 year old undergrown humanoids do need to be restrained these days.

Oh dear, I'm afraid you're right, Ravenrune.
'Well, what are you?" said the Pigeon. "I can see you're trying to invent something!" "I-I'm a little girl," said Alice, rather doubtfully. She found herself at last in a beautiful garden, among the bright flower-beds and the cool fountains.

Many years ago I once saw a kid, about ten years old, with a harness/leash on him in the mall. I was embarrassed for him. I don't know if he was retarded or why he had the harness on.

I think it's okay in some cases to have a leash/harness on a toddler when in public, for safety's sake.

Well behaved kids do not need to be leashed.
The problem these days is some parents don't know how to raise a child using disciplinary actions. Children get raised in front of the television box.......... monkey sees......... monkey does........

I agree. Attentive parents who properly nurture their children should not require a harness and leash to keep them out of mischief. But I see so many mothers texting in stores while yelling at their children as if they're a nuisance, I wonder why they even had them.

I suppose it could have been the lack of control they had over their own libidos at the time, since irresponsible conduct seems to be acceptable these days.
Not all in life is at it appears to be.
