    The Migrant Caravan Invasion

A migrant caravan from Central America is currently heading en masse to the United States. Its members, several thousand strong, are intent on pouring into the U.S. in what amounts to an invasion force. President Trump has correctly branded the caravan an "onslaught" and an "assault on our country." The president has promised to use military troops if necessary to close the southern border with Mexico. He also threatened to cut off all foreign aid to those Central American countries that are not doing enough to stop the migration caravan in its tracks.

Members of the caravan have already demonstrated their violent streak during an early stage of their trek, as they approached Mexico. They “forced their way through Guatemala's northwestern border and flooded onto a bridge leading to Mexico,” AFP reported. These migrants, mainly from Honduras, engaged in violent clashes with Mexican riot police as they tried to surge through police lines and cross the bridge into Mexico. Four Mexican police officers were reportedly injured. "Violent entry into the country not only threatens our sovereignty, but also puts the migrants themselves at risk," Mexico’s President Pena Nieto said. "Mexico does not permit and will not permit entry into its territory in an irregular fashion, much less in a violent fashion."

Mexican government officials have said that Mexico would be willing to consider asylum requests from members of the caravan on an individual basis, with the assistance of the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner on Refugees (“UNHCR”). Mexico is proposing that UNCHR establish shelters along Mexico’s southern border with Central American countries. Individuals deemed by the UN agency to be eligible for asylum protection, presumably after performing its standard vetting, would be eligible for placement in a host country willing to accept them, which could be Mexico or the United States. Those deemed not to have a legitimate claim would be sent back to their home countries. If someone manages to slip through this system and travels through Mexico before crossing the Mexico-U.S. border into the United States, Mexico has indicated that it would be willing to accept the return of that individual if the U.S. so wishes. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that the United States welcomed and would cooperate with Mexico’s initiative to have Central American migrants processed for possible asylum in Mexico first with UN assistance. The initiative conforms with international law on the handling of claims for refugee status and is an orderly and humane solution to the migration crisis that the caravan has precipitated.

However, the migrant invaders are impatient. “We are going to the United States,” said one of the migrants. “Nobody is going to stop us.” The Associated Press has reported that despite Mexico’s attempt to intervene, “a growing throng of Central American migrants resumed their advance toward the U.S. border early Sunday in southern Mexico.” Their numbers have reportedly grown, after migrants in the caravan decided not to submit to Mexico’s asylum process that would have enabled them to enter Mexico legally. Instead, they took the law into their own hands. Mexico now appears to have largely given up and is doing little to stop them.

The caravan migrants believe that they are entitled to simply pass through Mexico without any interference and ensconce themselves in the United States. A press release issued by the organizers of a similar migrant caravan earlier this year stated a “demand of Mexico and the United States” that “they open the borders to us because we are as much citizens as the people of the countries where we are and/or travel.” This “open borders” demand is a direct challenge to U.S. national sovereignty. Migrants are not entitled to insist upon a “right” to choose the United States as their destination country, including would-be asylum-seekers if they are offered the chance for asylum in Mexico first.

Some of the caravan migrants cry poverty and use children as shields while pleading their case. Others in the caravan have likely learned - from the migrants who preceded them and from open borders advocates encouraging their migration - the playbook of how to exploit the loophole-ridden U.S. immigration laws. They know that their sheer numbers will further overwhelm an already overstretched adjudicative process with many more amnesty claims. Once in this country, the migrants, especially those with children in tow, are likely to be released into the community-at-large, pending the outcome of their asylum hearings, which could take place years later. They may well skip their hearings altogether, as many before them have done, and remain free to live in our country at American taxpayers’ expense indefinitely. Other migrants in the caravan who manage to make it to the U.S. border will simply enter illegally at unguarded points without even the pretense of seeking asylum unless they can be stopped first. Terrorists and criminal gang members are free to take part in the caravan with little chance of detection.

President Trump has vowed to use the military to seal the southern border of the United States with Mexico, if necessary – a stretch of territory as long as 2000 miles. Aside from logistical issues, questions have been raised as to whether the president has the legal authority to take such action in enforcing U.S. immigration laws, at least with respect to utilizing active-duty members of the army, navy, air force and marines. Those who claim that the president does not have such authority cite the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878, as amended from time to time, which prohibits active duty military troops from executing the country’s laws unless expressly authorized by the Constitution or an Act of Congress. This statute does not apply to the National Guard operating under state authority.

A federal court has held that the Posse Comitatus Act “makes unlawful the use of federal military troops in an active role of direct law enforcement by civil law enforcement officers,” which includes “arrest; seizure of evidence; search of a person; search of a building; investigation of crime; interviewing witnesses; pursuit of an escaped civilian prisoner; search of an area for a suspect or other like activities.” Military personnel can do little more than maintain border fences and vehicles and perhaps also assist with surveillance, including in connection with drugs smuggling, if the Posse Comitatus Act is interpreted as restrictively as open borders proponents are likely to advocate in court.

However, repelling an organized force of unvetted migrants, who may include terrorists and foreign criminal gang members, from entering this country in the first place is not simply civil domestic law enforcement. It is a military response to a genuine threat to U.S. territorial sovereignty and national security originating from foreign territories. The military response would be directed by the president of the United States who is vested with the constitutional authority of commander in chief. The president would be using the military to implement the constitutional mandate of Article IV, Section 4 of the Constitution that the “United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion.”

Moreover, the Posse Comitatus Act was intended to protect Americans within the boundaries of the United States from military rule. Its original purpose was to put an end to the use of federal troops to police state elections in the ex-Confederate states where the civil power had been reestablished. As one federal court stated, the Posse Comitatus Act is “the type of criminal statute which is properly presumed to have no extraterritorial application in the absence of statutory language indicating a contrary intent.” There is nothing in either the legislative history or text of the Posse Comitatus Act.to indicate that its drafters intended to prohibit the president’s use of military troops to block aliens gathered together in a horde from attempting to cross into our country after having violently clashed with the police of another country en route and having willfully evaded that country's laws. Terrorists may well be concealing themselves in the migrant caravan. Hezbollah, for example, has already managed to penetrate the U.S. border with Mexico, posing a serious national security threat.

The Supreme Court recently upheld the constitutionality of President Trump’s executive order limiting the entry of aliens from certain countries on national security grounds, pending a thorough review of the vetting process. The Court relied on §1182(f) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, which enables the President to “suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens” whenever he “finds” that their entry “would be detrimental to the interests of the United States.”

Analogously, if the president determines that it is necessary to use active members of the military to enforce federal authority in situations he deems potentially dangerous to national security, there is a statutory exception to the Posse Comitatus Act which should allow him to do just that (10 U.S.C. § 332, renumbered §252). This provision states that the president may “use such of the armed forces, as he considers necessary,” to enforce “the laws of the United States” whenever he “considers that unlawful obstructions, combinations, or assemblages” make it “impracticable” to enforce such laws “by the ordinary course of judicial proceedings.” The migrant caravan aimed at entering the United States is an “assemblage” by definition. This assemblage has already acted unlawfully in violent clashes with Mexican riot police, after which some members then entered Mexico illegally despite being given the chance to submit to a legal process for asylum claims. U.S. border enforcement officials have already been overwhelmed by the number of illegal aliens and would-be asylum seekers from Central America. The current migration caravan will further burden the adjudicative system for amnesty hearings to the point of implosion.

President Trump tweeted on Sunday: “Full efforts are being made to stop the onslaught of illegal aliens from crossing our Southern Border. People have to apply for asylum in Mexico first, and if they fail to do that, the U.S. will turn them away.” If he needs the military to protect the border from the migrant caravan invasion, so be it.

Migrant Caravan Crosses Southern Mexico Unimpeded As Local Groups Offer Food, Support

Despite Mexico’s promises to halt its progress, the migrant caravan launched from a crime-ridden city in Honduras earlier this month has continued its march toward the US-Mexico border.

And while the media has spilled much ink reporting on the brutal conditions of the migrants (who have been supplied with clean food and water every step of the way) it appears the group is growing larger by the day. While low-ball estimates have put the size of the caravan at around 3,500, other estimates have put that number as high as 14,000.

And according to Reuters, the group departed the Mexican town of Mapastepec in Chiapas state on Thursday after stopping overnight to rest. The caravan is now less than 1,700 miles from the US border, and has continued trudging forward despite being told by Mexican authorities that its members would not be allowed to cross into the US. President Trump has also pledged to do “whatever we have to do” to keep them out.

Alex Mensing of Pueblo Sin Fronteras, a group that organized the first migrant caravan to head toward the US earlier this year, and is apparently doing everything it can to help this one, said the current group is 10,000 people strong. Though Mensing said it’s unlikely that the group will reach the border as one large lump – instead, hundreds will probably stay in Mexico while the rest fan out across the southern US border depending on where they have family.

“It’s very unlikely that 10,000 people will arrive together at a border city between Mexico and the United States,” he told a conference call with reporters.

“There will be people who stay in Mexico, there will be people who go to different borders because everyone has their own plan and different support where they have family members.”

Meanwhile, a separate group of most Honduran migrants numbering 1,000 strong has been moving slowly through Guatemala toward Mexico, comprising the third caravan to head toward the US this year.

A member of one church group described to Reuters how migrants would try to hitch rides aboard the church vehicles used to transport food and other supplies to the migrants.

“No, no,” church volunteer Liz Magail Rodriguez said, pointing to the containers of food. “With these tamales, you’ll have energy to walk all day.”

With this in mind, the ‘assistance’ that the migrants have received from both local groups and US-based nonprofits like Pueblo Sin Fronteras cannot be understated. The latter organization has been following the migrants for practically their entire journey, since the first few hundred members departed the Honduran city of San Pedro Sula on Oct. 13, supplying them with water, food and even
handing out cash to the crowd.

Even as some groups have refused to give rides to the migrants (because there would be no “caravan” for Dems to rally behind if they were all traveling by car), the migrants have been well-fed and – as one twitter user pointed out – suspiciously clean.

The notion that the offer of financial support wasn’t central to the caravan’s formation is completely false. As the New York Post reported on Wednesday, a former Honduran lawmaker Bartolo Fuentes helped organize the caravan by purportedly telling a local news station that migrants would receive “assistance” – which is what initially inspired the dozens of travelers.

And while left-leaning media has moved to quickly debunk President Trump’s assertion that there are unspecified “Middle Easterners” in the caravan, they’re largely missing the point. As two reporters from the Daily Caller pointed out, we don’t know who is in the Caravan, and we certainly don’t know their criminal history.

    Zero Hedge

Of course this Migrant Caravan orchestrated by left NGO’s, the Democrats, Soros and the globalist NWO, is part of the War on Trump.

It's less that 7,000 and decreasing daily. By the time they get to the US border there won't be much of a threat.

However, President Trump has guaranteed there will be no illegal entry into the US. Some may be granted asylum depending upon circumstances, but all will be heavily vetted for criminal activities and gang affiliation.

Hopefully the military will get some trigger time with the latter.

Media Is Reporting That Some In The 2nd Migrant Caravan Have “Guns” And “Bombs”

A second migrant caravan has been attempting to breach Mexico’s border with Guatemala, and the media is reporting that some migrants in that second caravan are armed with “guns” and “bombs”.

This is a very serious claim, and it needs to either be confirmed or retracted, because it is not helpful to have unconfirmed reports spreading like wildfire on social media. There have been endless discussions about these migrant caravans on all the major news networks in recent weeks, and they are getting so much attention that they are almost overshadowing the midterm elections which are going to happen next week. And if this latest report is true, concern about these caravans is certain to reach a fever pitch…

The second group back at the Guatemalan frontier has been more unruly than the first that crossed. Guatemala’s Interior Ministry said Guatemalan police officers were injured when the migrant group broke through border barriers on Guatemala’s side of the bridge.

Mexico authorities said migrants attacked its agents with rocks, glass bottles and fireworks when they broke through a gate on the Mexican end but were pushed back, and some allegedly carried guns and firebombs. That quote comes from a Daily Mail article, and it sounds quite ominous. But elsewhere in the article we find out that the “bombs” are actually
“gasoline bombs made of soft-drink bottles, and improvised PVC tubes to launch fireworks”. So they aren’t exactly military grade bombs, but they could definitely cause damage.

In response to these caravans headed toward our border, President Trump tweeted the following on Monday…
Many Gang Members and some very bad people are mixed into the Caravan heading to our Southern Border. Please go back, you will not be admitted into the United States unless you go through the legal process. This is an invasion of our Country and our Military is waiting for you!

And subsequently we learned that approximately 5,000 U.S. troops are going to be deployed to the borderThe US military will deploy 5,000 troops to the southern border – up from initial estimates of 800, according to the Wall street Journal, citing US officials. The troops will be sent to Texas, Arizona and California as Central American migrant caravan makes its way north through Mexico. Defense Secretary Jim Mattis told reporters Sunday that the military has already started to deploy countermeasures to the southern border, following weekend reports that Mexican police had abandoned their own blockades as a massive Central American migrant caravan continues their march north, reports AP.
So it looks like we may have some sort of major border confrontation just before election day. Needless to say, whatever happens at the border is going to be broadcast all over the world, and it could potentially swing a lot of votes one way or the other.

Meanwhile, the mainstream media / MSM is getting a lot of mileage out of this controversy, and some hosts are receiving a tremendous amount of criticism for the things that they are saying. For example, Brian Kilmeade of Fox News is in hot water for stating that the migrants could potentially bring “diseases” into this country… Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade is being taken to task over comments he made about the migrant caravan. During his Fox and Friends show which was discussing the migrant caravan which is headed toward the United States, he explained how one of his biggest concerns about the group is the ‘diseases’ the migrants could bring. And he went on to say that “keeping some people out is ‘part of the reason why America’s America.’”… He then went on to ponder why those who want to block the caravan from entering are seen as ‘hardhearted,’ even though ‘we already give 40 to 50 percent of our taxable income to the government for social programs.’

‘We can’t have countries’ entire populations come in’ to America, Kilmeade continued,
‘because keeping some people out is ‘part of the reason why America’s America.’

On the other side, the New York Times is being criticized for linking criticism of the caravan with the attack that we just witnessed in Pittsburgh… But as the country processes the cumulative trauma of two actual crises that occurred inside its borders — a spate of pipe bombs sent to the president’s political opponents, and the massacre of 11 people at a synagogue by a man who spewed anti-Semitic vitriol and called immigrants “invaders” — there is clear overlap between the hatred and delusion that drove this lethal behavior and the paranoia and misinformation surrounding the caravan.

As I have stated repeatedly, this is the most divided that I have ever seen America in my entire lifetime. The midterm elections that will happen next week will certainly not solve that problem no matter who wins. In fact, those elections could be a flashpoint that will escalate the anger and frustration in this country to an entirely new level. We no longer have a single set of values that define us as a nation. Instead, the left hates the right and the right hates the left and the mainstream media continues to invent new ways to divide us and pit us against one another.

I would never suggest that we should compromise our values, but if we do not learn how to love those that disagree with us we are not going to make it as a nation. Anger and hatred are not going to get us anywhere. Yes, we must always stand for what is right, but we must always endeavor to love our neighbors as well. If America continues down the road that it is currently on, it is a recipe for chaos, civil unrest and societal collapse.

America may seem strong today, but a nation is only as strong as the people that make it up, and right now it is very difficult to be optimistic about our future.

    Prison Planet.com, 30 Oct 2018.

‘We can’t have countries’ entire populations come in’ to America' - that's what globalism is - the end of races and nation states.

Migrant caravan: Second group of migrants arrive in Mexico as Pentagon prepares to deploy thousands of troops

Critics say president is stoking fears about the caravan for political reasons ahead of midterm elections

Around 4,000 migrants from Central America are walking and hitchhiking northwards through Mexico, and Donald Trump has dispatched 5,000 troops southwards to help secure the US border amid what has has termed "an emergency".

In addition to this original group, more than 1,000 migrants in a second caravan that forced its way across the river from Guatemala have begun arriving in the southern Mexico city of Tapachula.

That is the latest, strange status quo in the saga of the migrant caravan, which set off 10,000-strong from Honduras two weeks ago. On the way, the caravan has been joined by people from El Salvador and Guatemala, seeking to enter the US and sure a better life. At the same time, thousands have dropped out because of the heat and exhaustion, and being offered transport home by the Mexican government.

Mr Trump has made clear he will do everything in his power to stop them, dispatching extra troops, threatening to shut border entirely and telling them on social media to go home.

Observers say, Mr Trump’s primary audience is his political base, which he is seeking to energise and fire up ahead of the midterm elections, just days away; very few of the migrants follow the US president’s tweets.

On the one hand, it's hard to have sympathy after the US has been one of those powers responsible of destabilising the Middle East and causing droves of "refugees" to flood Europe. On the other hand, I feel sorry for those Germanics who will have to deal with the consequences of America sticking her nose everywhere. What's ironic is that the US is already sending financial aid to Central America. Sadly, long gone are those isolationist years where Americans were not concerned with others' issues.

"We have no jobs", "we want a better life", etc. - this is the constant excuse of economic migrants. Well, our countries are not a Holy Grail, where anybody can come as they wish and take a chunk of their resources. Trump was elected mostly based on his promises regarding illegal immigration. How he deals with this situation will be crucial.

Razor wire is going up at the border and their numbers are dwindling.

Trump is deadly serious about not allowing this invading hoard into the US.

I do hope Trump is as "deadly serious" about preventing this disrespectful invasion as he has been about chasing women behind the curtain. It's high time this egotistical rich man occupying the Oval office put his executive power where his big mouth is.
Aside from an ever increasing number of mortals who have willfully chosen to worship Satan and his minions, our battle has always been against the powers and principalities operating surreptitiously throughout this twisted world.
