H&M CEO Calls 1.1 Million Swedes, Who Voted For Less Migration, Xenophobes

Once again, the Swedish clothing giant H&M has drawn controversy. Previous scandals include child labour, a poorly thought-out campaign featuring a black boy wearing a sweater with the text “coolest monkey in the jungle”, and socks insulting to Muslims.

This time, however, is different. This time they chose to attack others – 1.1 million Swedes – saying what they believe is wrong.

In an interview with Sweden’s largest morning paper Dagens Nyheter, H&M’s CEO Karl-Johan Persson speaks about the Sweden Democrats (SD) – a party that is by no means extreme – it only advocates a sustainable refugee policy where the country and its citizens’ well-being is put first.

According to Persson, SD voters are “xenophobic” and have a “weird” view of humanity. And the recent development in Sweden and Europe is “scary”. “It goes straight against everything that H&M stands for”, he adds.

On top of that H&M chose football player Jimmi Durmaz as a model in their upcoming campaign – a man who was subjected to angry social media comments after he made a fool of himself at the World Cup earlier this year.

Swedish mainstream media blew the incident out of proportion, accusing Swedes in general and SD voters in particular of being racist, even though only a dozen of the 4000+ comments could possibly be considered racist.

And now, months later, even though the incident was over and done with, H&M take a stand against the “terrible” and “racist” Swedes and show their support for Jimmi by giving him a million-dollar contract.

In other words, in an attempt to clear themselves, H&M falsely accuse others of what they themselves are guilty.

No one is surprised, though. They are just one of many companies, celebrities and politicians who take a stand for multiculturalism and against anyone who questions the concept and its consequences.

Perhaps Karl-Johan Persson and these others would have a different perspective if they were the ones living in migrant areas with their sons being robbed and beaten, and their daughters being raped.

Nonetheless, at present, our only weapon against companies and celebrities who speak negatively of Europe’s right-wing parties and their voters, is to boycott them.

    I never had bought anything at H & M .

I once had been in one of their stores and they offered only average size clothing ,
nothing in super tall sizes .

I am also not so much in advertizing .
Advertizing has the opposite effect on me , than probably expected .
Advertising keeps in mind , that a produce or company still exists .
Emotions may create a psychological state of euphoric happiness , which likely vanishes like the usage of a drug .

Somehow I believe , that advertising is launched to reach young grown ups without life experience ,
just to introduce the brand into the minds .

Advertising campaigns might just be launched to reduce the sales to reduce taxes and
demand because the production is currently not enough to replace sold items .

Most corporations that are listed at stock exchanges are operating world-wide and can't afford
discrimmination in opposite to their employees .

Furthermore , it seems that H & M is a store for women's clothing , and women are unfortunately
by majority pro-immigration , especially in Sweden .
In this case , H & M board members have done nothing wrong in regards to their individual silverlings in their personal wallets .
