    There is no doubt that modern products and by-products do seem to have a relationship with the development of cancer. I am more interested in the idea that cancer is a natural phenomena and the reason we see it more often is because people are living longer. Whereas before, it wouldn't be as evident because most people would have died before natural cancer would have a chance to develop.

    True but we are also a product of our genes. I believe that genetic factors outweigh environmental ones when it comes to disease and longevity.
