I too am glad to see this. I believe it was inevitable given Merkel's immigration policy. I knew this back in '15 and couldn't believe what I was hearing on the news.

There is only so much taking legal citizens are willing to put up with before beginning to push back.

A government template is not even necessary, it's just the regular entirely leftist style of writing of German mainstream media.

    Especially "funny" is this, though:
Silvia Faschner (her name has been changed by the editors)
Are they serious? Just a change to a random name, sure.

    Also this:
If you ask why she blames the refugees instead of, for example, unfair income distribution, she says: "Because you have to be against someone, and with them, it's easy."
Like anyone would actually say something like this. It's just the nonsense leftists think about us projected into the mouths of one of us. I really have no idea why they are called "Lügenpresse"...

By the way, jagdmesser, could you please use the forum quote option or at least quotation marks when posting news articles from other sources? It is sometimes hard to make out what is your own post and what a quote.

18 people injured in Germany as rival protesters clash over immigration

Chemnitz has been in the spotlight after violent protests erupted over the fatal stabbing of a German man.

18 PEOPLE HAVE been injured as the anti-migrant and counter-protesters held opposing rallies in the German city of Chemnitz, which was hit by demonstrations last week. Chemnitz has been in the spotlight after violent protests erupted over the fatal stabbing of a German man, allegedly by a Syrian and an Iraqi last Sunday.

On Saturday, thousands of people answered a joint street call by the party AfD and PEGIDA movement to descend once again on the streets of the former communist city which was in the erstwhile East Germany. But an equally large contingent of counter-protesters, including Green party and Social Democratic Party MPs, also converged to take a stand against racism.

According to police estimates, more than 11,000 demonstrators turned up for the separate protests. Local police, backed up by officers from across Germany, were out in force to keep both sides from clashing. But as the rallies cleared, scuffles took place among small groups.

SPD MP Soeren Bartol said on Twitter that his group from Marburg were “attacked by Nazis” while they were heading for the bus. “All SPD flags destroyed and some were also physically attacked,” he wrote, adding that police had arrived swiftly to halt the assault.

In all, 18 people were injured, including three police officers, said in a statement today, doubling their earlier injury estimate. Police are also examining at least 37 possible offences, including bodily harm, property damage and resistance against law enforcement officers.

Away from Chemnitz city centre, a 20-year-old Afghan man suffered light injuries after he was assaulted by four masked men. Police said they were investigating if the perpetrators counted among demonstrators.

    ‘Get up from our sofas’

Two smaller demonstrations are planned today. One is titled “Chemnitz residents sending a democratic signal against violence and xenophobia” while the second is organised by the Protestant church.

Another major event is expected tomorrow, when German punk band Die Toten Hosen leads a free concert against racism.

Foreign Minister Heiko Maas called on Germans to take a stand against xenophobia. “We have to get up from our sofas and open our mouths,” he told Bild am Sonntag, stressing that “all of us have to show the world that we democrats are the majority and the racists are the minority”. “The silent majority must get louder,” he said.

The tensions in Chemnitz have underlined the divisions in Germany over Chancellor Angela Merkel’s decision three years ago to keep Germany’s borders open to asylum seekers, many fleeing war in Syria and Iraq. Misgivings run particularly high in Saxony state, where Chemnitz is located, over the arrival of more than a million asylum seekers since 2015. The AfD party has won strong support in the region through its campaign against migrant arrivals, and surveys suggest that it is poised to become Saxony’s second biggest party in next year’s regional elections.

For some time the ruling establishment have controlled and rigged elections throughout Europe. They think they have the right to rule, so EVERYWHERE they fix selection and rig the results.

The NWO globalists want white Europeans to quietly die off but before that would happen there will be a Civil War.

Support for stopping the third world ‘mass invasion’, expelling fake refugees and failed asylum seekers, establishing quotas and shutting the borders is a minority because of the Lügende Presse (MSM). In a sane world with free speech and open debate this would be the majority position.

I think it is the majority position. It's the silent majority that is only now waking up. Only the indoctrinated think that this level of migration is at all acceptable, nevermind a "strength."

Yes, the stupid FK'ers that don't care anything about being German, living in Germany, or German traditions and lifestyle. And those are the Germans who really are Germans. They cannot appreciate what they have never been deprived of or cannot ever experience.

These idiots are willing to give it all away in the name of their fellow Third World Shithole dweller and allow them to turn Germany into that too.

I wish my boots were big enough to kick all of these dumbasses right where the sun doesn't shine.

I remember that footage, not really sure but I think Chlod posted it in the chat box from FB.
The middle-aged lady did indeed say that, obviously being totally fed-up with vandalising, harrassing and knive wielding immigrants roaming the streets.

Found footage apparently from the Pro-Chemnitz demo on August 27 which united later with other demos.

It's actually great to see that the "normies" no longer run away when the front march shouts slogans like

Deutschland den Deutschen - Ausländer raus

Wir sind die Fans - Adolf Hitler und Rudi Hess (Applaus)

Wir sind hier - der Nationale Widerstand

Festung Europa - macht die Grenzen dicht

The "Pro" groups also march under the banner of Frei - Sozial - und National sometimes and have often been with the Pegida demonstrations. Sellner and Kubichek can stuff their sophistication elsewhere, it's this slogan that will win at the end.
Because at the end of the day, everyone on the streets wants back our "welfare state" and one day people will understand that this was a product of Nationalsocialism, not of SPD or other parties. SPD demolishes the welfare system step by step and destroys the solidarity community, CDU and SPD destroy the nation and our people.

    We will win!

    ist das eigene Volk.
    Und für dieses Volk

    wollen wir ringen
    und wollen wir kämpfen
    und niemals erlahmen
    und niemals ermüden
    und niemals verzagen
    und niemals verzweifeln

(the most precious possession in this world though is your own people. And for this people and for this nation we will struggle and we will fight - and never languish - and never weaken - and never give up - and never dispair! ~Adolf Hitler)

The focus of anger remains upon the "migrants," unfortunately, rather than upon the traitors on government and media who rot the society from within and caused the entire problem. You can't kill a weed by running a lawnmower over it. You must dig it out by the roots.
Most people think as they are trained to think, and most people make a majority.

That is incorrect. In fact, people in Saxony have been protesting that "Merkel muss weg" for a while, and they call the mainstream media "Lügenpresse". Everyone knows this, and it goes so far that some even have a hard time trusting patriotic media outlets just for the sake of them reporting too (albeit much more positively).

It's just the very same mainstream media that wants to create an image of radical, violent simpletons that just happen to hate migrants. Why? Because it wants to keep more ordinary people from joining the protests. They need their government money to spread their leftist agenda (journalists in big media houses have been proven by survey to be far more left-leaning than the population as a whole), too.

That being said, the so-called stories of "organised violence against migrants" is bullshit. For all that the mainstream media has written about several "manhunts" happening, the evidence is very dim. The ONLY (!) footage showing such happenings is a video first posted by an Antifa (!) site. The video was cut-to-fit first, because they cut out the raw footage showing that the Germans had been insulted as "fucking Germans" first. That so-called hunt by some easy-to-provoke folks includes briefly holding the migrant - and stops after 10 metres, because they drop him immediately.

Another story they're making "big" is how supposely thousands of people ran around showing the "Hitler salute" and chanting NS-leaning slogans (livestream showed it wa perhaps about 100). So far, out of 6.000 people protesting on the Monday, 1.000 protesting on the Sunday and about 8.000 protesting the following Saturday, there have been ten (!) charges of whoing "Hitler salute" pressed. They completely left out the fact that right-wing protesters were attacked with metal bars by left-extremists on their way home on Monday, even though the police in Chemnitz tweeted about this.

All this is, is a demonisation of legitimate protest, falsely hanging over it a spectre that most Germans wouldn't want to be associated with. There aren't any "Nazi riots" happening in Germany, and so they have to invent them in order to continue their narrative that the problem weren't the politics, but rampant "right-wing extremism" taking place next to the AfD's rising.
-In kalte Schatten versunken...

(Heimdalls Wacht, In kalte Schatten versunken, stanzas 4-6)

Plus that at least one of those caught on camera with a Hitler salute was a journalist of Agentur Focus and writes for many of the leftist media outlets that are called Lügenpresse^^

    Germany's surveillance of AfD

Can Germany’s far-right AfD be subjected to surveillance?

As politicians call for the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party to be monitored by domestic security authorities, DW looks at the criteria that must be met for this to happen.

This past weekend, Thuringia's AfD chief Björn Höcke took part in a march organized by the far-right, anti-Islam group, PEGIDA – an incident that shows "how the AfD and the neo-Nazis cooperate," according to Thomas Oppermann, vice president of the German Bundestag.

Oppermann is just one of the senior politicians echoing calls for the AfD to be subject to surveillance by the country's domestic security agency, the Office for the Protection of the Constitution, or BfV.

    The BfV's tasks and powers

The BfV is charged with collecting and analyzing information on:

    1. Efforts directed against the free democratic basic order or against the existence and the security of the federation or one of its states

    2. Intelligence activities carried out on behalf of a foreign power

    3. Efforts jeopardizing foreign interests of the Federal Republic of Germany by the use of violence or the preparation thereof

    4. Efforts directed against the idea of international understanding, especially against the peaceful coexistence of peoples

For the most part, information is gathered in two ways.

    1. By open, generally accessible sources, including newspapers, flyers, programs and public events
    2. By the use of intelligence means including the handling of individuals recruited from the extremist scene, covert surveillance, and, if necessary, mail and telephone interception, which is subject to authorization

Bremen, Lower Saxony monitor AfD youth wings

The federal government has so far said that it does not see a case for making the far-right populist party as a whole subject to BfV surveillance – even after recent events in the eastern city of Chemnitz, where it played a part in the unrest and protests that surged against foreigners after two migrants were charged in the fatal stabbing of a German man.

The states of Bremen and Lower Saxony have meanwhile placed the AfD regional youth wings (Youth Alternative, or JA for short) under observation, with Lower Saxony's Interior Minister Boris Pistorius branding the JA an "unconstitutional organization."

The BfV does, however, monitor other groups on the far-right spectrum such as the National Democratic Party of Germany (NPD), as well as The Right and The Third Way. But two failed attempts to have the openly unconstitutional neo-Nazi NPD banned once and for all show the kinds of limitations the agency faces.

The first attempt failed in 2003 due to the many BfV informers at the head of the NPD, and the next attempt failed in 2016 because of a lack of political relevance: the party isn't present in a single German state parliament.

    Leftist organizations under surveillance

It's not just right-wing extremist groups that are on the agency's radar, though. For years, the BfV has also been observing "openly extremist structures" on the far-left of the political spectrum, including the Marxist Forum (MF), the Anti-Capitalist Left (AKL) and the Communist Platform (KPF).

AFD LEADERS AND THEIR MOST OFFENSIVE REMARKS

    Alexander Gauland

Co-chairman Alexander Gauland said the German national soccer team's defender Jerome Boateng might be appreciated for his performance on the pitch - but people would not want "someone like Boateng as a neighbor." He also argued Germany should close its borders and said of an image showing a drowned refugee child: "We can't be blackmailed by children's eyes."

    Alice Weidel

Alice Weidel generally plays the role of "voice of reason" for the far-right populists, but she, too, is hardly immune to verbal miscues. Welt newspaper, for instance, published a 2013 memo allegedly from Weidel in which she called German politicians "pigs" and "puppets of the victorious powers in World War II". Weidel initially claimed the mail was fake, but now admits its authenticity.

    Frauke Petry

German border police should shoot at refugees entering the country illegally, the former co-chair of the AfD told a regional newspaper in 2016. Officers must "use firearms if necessary" to "prevent illegal border crossings." Communist East German leader Erich Honecker was the last German politician who condoned shooting at the border.

    Björn Höcke

The head of the AfD in the state of Thuringia made headlines for referring to Berlin's Holocaust memorial as a "monument of shame" and calling on the country to stop atoning for its Nazi past. The comments came just as Germany enters an important election year - leading AfD members moved to expel Höcke for his remarks.

    Beatrix von Storch

Initially, the AfD campaigned against the euro and bailouts - but that quickly turned into anti-immigrant rhetoric. "People who won't accept STOP at our borders are attackers," the European lawmaker said. "And we have to defend ourselves against attackers."

    Marcus Pretzell

Pretzell, former chairman of the AfD in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and husband to Frauke Petry, wrote “These are Merkel’s dead,” shortly after news broke of the deadly attack on the Berlin Christmas market in December 2016."These are Merkel's dead," shortly after news broke of the deadly attack on the Berlin

    Andre Wendt

The member of parliament in Germany's eastern state of Saxony made waves in early 2016 with an inquiry into how far the state covers the cost of sterilizing unaccompanied refugee minors. Thousands of unaccompanied minors have sought asylum in Germany, according to the Federal Association for Unaccompanied Minor Refugees (BumF) - the vast majority of them young men.

    Andre Poggenburg

Poggenburg, head of the AfD in the eastern state of Saxony-Anhalt, has also raised eyebrows with extreme remarks. In February 2017, he urged other lawmakers in the state parliament to join measures against the extreme left-wing in order to "get rid of, once and for all, this rank growth on the German racial corpus" - the latter term clearly derived from Nazi terminology.

    Alexander Gauland - again ...

During a campaign speech in Eichsfeld in August 2017, AfD election co-candidate Alexander Gauland said that Social Democrat parliamentarian Aydan Özoguz should be "disposed of" back to Anatolia. The German term, "entsorgen," raised obvious parallels to the imprisonment and killings of Jews and prisoners of war under the Nazis.

Gauland was roundly criticized for a speech he made to the AfD's youth wing in June 2018. Acknowledging Germany's responsibility for the crimes of the Nazi era, he went on to say Germany had a "glorious history and one that lasted a lot longer than those damned 12 years. Hitler and the Nazis are just a speck of bird shit in over 1,000 years of successful German history."
