I never had the opportunity to reside in a rural setting. But Gareth was raised in the country. He liked it a lot.

I do know I appreciate the peaceful tranquility of our sanctuary. So, I guess I would like living in the country too.
Not all in life is at it appears to be.

Sometimes I think that ''city people'' are bit weird .... like that they belongs to another race.

Meaning (wondering) how easily relationships between city people and rural/country ones could work.

It is much more difficult for city person to adapt to rural living, than it is for a rural person to live in a city. Rural people are used to doing things for themselves. There is great satisfaction in being self reliant even if you are unware of it.

I once had a city client come to my shop/homestead he was stunned not by the shop but by the garden, hogs, cows summer kitchen and the fact we grew or raised our own food, and heated with wood. He was amazed that my ex wife was canning green beans and tomatoes. We sent him home with fresh canned peaches, beans, and tomatoes, he did not eat them instead kept them to show people. He even commented that he would not know where to begin if he had to live like that if he had to, he didn't understand we lived that way by choice.
Life is like a fire hydrant- sometimes you help people put out their fires, but most of the time you just get peed on by every dog in the neighborhood.

An early sitcom depicting the comical clash between the exaggerated metropolitan lifestyle and that found in rural America:

Aside from an ever increasing number of mortals who have willfully chosen to worship Satan and his minions, our battle has always been against the powers and principalities operating surreptitiously throughout this twisted world.

ah yes, Green Acres the spin off from petticoat junction which was a spin off of the greatest sitcom ever made...Beverly Hillbillies.

Come listen to a story about a man named Jed, a poor mountaineer that barely kept his family fed, yet he was the smartest of anybody on the whole show.

There is actually a town of Bugtussle, its about an hour South of me on the Tennessee Kentucky state line.

It doesn't surprise me, small and rural towns are usually close knit, traditional and full of nature, three essential things to a happy and fulfilling life.

    Plus less refugees.

Even if officers would first try to put them living in rural areas .... after x months ... all of them have moved to bigger growing centrals.

More people => more changes to make crimes.

Definitely, cities & large towns are like moths to flame for immigrants and refugees.
