Farage: I am 100 per cent sincere in offering a non-aggressive pact with the Tories

Ringo gets canceled: Ex-Beatle Starr savaged online for calling Brexit a ‘great move’ in 2017

A two-year-old interview of former Beatle Ringo Starr, saying that he would have voted for Brexit in the 2016 EU referendum if he had been in the UK, has prompted an avalanche of abuse from pro-remainers.

The video clip from a 2017 interview with the former drummer on BBC Newsnight went viral on Twitter on Sunday, with angry anti-Brexiteers lashing out at the British rock’n’roll icon for his outspoken views on the contentious subject.

    Legendary Ringo Starr says:

"The people voted and they have to get on with it.

You had the vote, this is what won, let’s get on with it.

I would have voted for Brexit because it’s a great move.

To be in control of your own country is a good move ”

Don’t trust Boris to deliver Brexit

Boris Johnson has become a hero to many Leave supporters as he presents himself as battling against a parliament dominated by MPs who never really wanted to accept the outcome of the referendum. Even the Brexit Party leader, Nigel Farage, has heaped praise on the prime minister for expelling the 21 Tory MPs who voted to take control of the order paper. Banging the dispatch box, the prime minister bellowed as he declared that he will never accept an extension; he could almost be Gary Oldman, in Darkest Hour, were it not for the messy hair and unfortunate and overtly obvious attempt at a poor Churchillian imitation.

While Brexiteers are cheering Mr Johnson, we cannot allow fact to be erased. It is a matter of public record that the prime minister has had a less than noble record since the referendum. Mr Johnson was the foreign secretary when the shabby Withdrawal Agreement was initiated between the British government and the European Commission. He participated in the negotiations that resulted in the document itself. He did resign in opposition to the treaty, but when push came to shove he voted for the Withdrawal Agreement in its last appearance in the House of Commons. This demonstrates that, ultimately, he is prepared to compromise, despite all his rhetoric and bluster, and kowtow to Brussels.

We should always beware a wolf in sheep’s clothing, as the old parable states. It should be noted, that prior to becoming a prominent Leave campaigner, the prime minister had to write two articles to help him decide whether or not he was indeed a Brexiteer! His whole political life has been one of self-advancement over principle. The only reason Mr Johnson is now prepared to support leaving without a deal is to hold off the real and deadly threat from the Brexit Party. But he was prepared to support Theresa May’s halfway-house Brexit, which would have rendered this country a vassal state. This position would have been totally unacceptable to our history and to the proud people of this country.

Since becoming prime minister, the usual Boris bluster has been ever prevalent. While he has regularly stated that he and his government are quite prepared to walk away from the negotiations and go for a clean Brexit on 31 October, we know that this is not his preference. Nor is it the preference of the majority of the Conservative Party in the House of Commons. While the Tories are perceived as being the pro-Brexit party, it is often forgotten that a majority of Conservative MPs backed Remain in the referendum and a substantial number supported the Withdrawal Agreement under May.

While many Brexiteers will see Boris Johnson as their champion in parliament, facing almost fearful odds, we have to examine the many public statements he has made and the briefings provided by his officials from Number 10. Repeatedly they have stated that a resolution to the issue of the Irish backstop would prove a way to settling on a deal. This suggests the prime minister would be content to accept the Withdrawal Agreement minus the backstop, which is not Brexit at all.

Contained within the Withdrawal Agreement, which is an embarrassment to our national prestige, is the ongoing jurisdiction of the European Court of Justice over British affairs. As well as questionable arrangements over freedom of movement, our payment of Ł40 billion to the EU, the selling-out of the fishing industry, regulatory alignment and our inability to settle our own trade arrangements. There is also uncertainty over the conclusion of any transition period. All of these things are wrong with this agreement and only when all of them are scrapped should Brexit supporters be satisfied. The prime minister has said he wants a deal. At present, it appears he would be happy to accept these facts so long as the backstop is gone, as no mention of them has been made. That will be his surrender document if and when he brings it before parliament.

Given that parliament has voted to prevent a clean Brexit, and given the prime minister’s questionable ethics and motivations, it is almost certain that we are yet to witness the biggest betrayal of all. Parliament will blame the executive and the executive will blame the legislature. Both will be complicit and both will be guilty. The Brexiteers who are today elevating the prime minister to an exalted place and affording him the fame of the truest knight of all will soon understand that he is not their salvation, but that he is in fact their curse.

Don’t trust Boris to deliver Brexit - spiked11 IX 2019.

TBQH, I don't trust anyone to deliver Brexit!

This advert is from today's Daily Express ...

Firstly, I'm 100% sure that Boris will refuse Farage's offer BUT I'm equally certain that Farage knows he'll refuse it.

The whole thing is a complete sham!!!

Sadly predictable! Mixed-race Johnson, who has always been a multiculturalist and has just abandoned all restrictions on foreign students has no intention of taking us out of the EU and is just posturing as a hard-line patriot who puts Britain first.

He's revelling in all the (artificial) difficulties created by parliament and when someone comes along with a solution he rejects it out of hand. He's an establishment figure through and through, so there will be no Brexit with Johnson at the helm and he's just hoping that when (not if, but WHEN) he fails everyone will say he did his best and "if only they'd all been like Boris" etc.. etc..

    He's an absolute disgrace!

Remainer rant: Lib Dems' glee as Guy Verhofstadt proclaims end of nation states

GUY VERHOFSTADT’s speech at the Liberal Democrat party conference in Bournemouth, where he appeared to call for the formation of a united Europe, was met with applause from the audience.

Former Belgian Prime Minister Mr Verhofstadt is MEP for Dutch-speaking-Belgium and the leader of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe in the European Parliament. He was speaking at the Liberal Democrat’s autumn conference in Bournemouth. Mr Verhofstadt said: “We cannot continue to be friends with a Europe that is always acting too little and too late.

“In the world order of tomorrow, the world order of tomorrow is not a world order based on nation states or countries, it’s a world order that is based on Empires, Chinais not a nation, it’s a civilisation. “India, you know it better than I do, is not a nation, there are two thousand nations in India, there are twenty different languages that are used there, there are four big religions at the same time.” India’s 2001 census recorded 29 languages with more than one million native speakers and its 2011 census recorded five regions with more than five million inhabitance. Mr Verhofstadt continued: “It is the biggest democracy worldwide.

“The US is also an Empire, more than a nation, maybe tomorrow they will speak more Spanish than English, I don’t know what will happen.” This remark was met with laughter from some members of the audience. He then added: “And then finally, the Russian Federation, the world of tomorrow is a world of Empires, in which we Europeans and you British can only defend your interests, your way of life by doing it together in a European framework and a European Union.”

This was met with raucous applause from the audience.

The conference was the first under the leadership of Jo Swinson. Ms Swinson succeeded Vince Cable as leader of the pro-Remain party. She was previously a minister in the coalition government with the Tories as Employment Relations and Postal Affairs Under-Secretary. Ms Swinson received 62.8% of the vote in the leadership run-off with Sir Ed Davey.

She received criticism after admitting she would not respect the result if a second referendum came out in favour of Brexit again. She has since told theBBC: "The Liberal Democrats are crystal clear - we want to stop Brexit. “If a Liberal Democrat majority government is elected, then we should revoke Article 50 and I think it's about being straightforward and honest with the British public about that."

Ms Swinson has ruled out being part of any coalition with either the Tories or Labour. She rejects the belief that either Boris Johnson and Jeremy Corbyn is fit to be Prime Minister. With the Liberal Democrats being formed in 1988 out of a merger of the Liberal Party and Social Democrat Party that broke away from Labour, no Liberal Democrat has ever been Prime Minister, though Nick Clegg was Deputy Prime Minister in the 2010-15 coalition.

David Lloyd George was the last Liberal Prime Minister and he left office in 1922. H.H. Asquith who opposed the Government of Mr Lloyd George and his successor Tory Andrew Bonar Law was the most recent Liberal Leader of the Opposition. At the European elections in May whilst Mr Cable was still party leader, the Liberal Democrats won 16 seats, an increase of 15 with 19.6% of the vote, second only to the Brexit Party.

Brexit latest: Lib Dems applaud as Verhofstadt proclaims ...16 IX 2019.

Verhofstadt is a party official mouthing the party line to the 'club'. Man has NOTHING going for him. Complete fool.

Anti-Brexit Lib Dems Cheer EU’s Verhofstadt as He Hails ‘World Order’ of ‘Empires’

Verhofstadt’s vision of the European Union as an empire is consistent with his approach to the Brexit negotiations with the British government during Theresa May’s premiership, with his team boasting of her Brexit-in-name-only withdrawal agreement: “We finally turned [Britain] into colony, and that was our plan from the first moment.”

His Liberal Democrat audience seemed wholly unperturbed by his open declaration of imperial ambitions, however — and indeed the speech was greeted with cheers and thunderous applause by conference-goers.

The conference also voted to endorse party leader Jo Swinson’s proposal to simply revoke Article 50 withdrawal proceedings and cancel Brexit outright if elected, without even troubling to force the British people to vote on the subject again in a direct referendum.

Swinson has, in fairness, been open about her disdain for the will of the people on the question of the European Union for some months, having already declared that she would continue to resist Brexit even if the public voted Leave a second time.

The Belgian MEP’s speech caused some in the Brexit camp to turn a common refrain of Remain diehards on its heads, however, questioning whether Remainers knew they were voting to be part of an empire rather than a trade club. “Goodness, what part of this speech says internationalism and global cooperation?” asked columnist Dia Chakravarty. “It’s all about defending ourselves against the proverbial other, be it China, India, or the U.S. I genuinely wonder how many Remainers actually voted for this ugly version of the EU in 2016.”

One can see what is wrong with the left-wing movement by the ugliness of their women.”
    – ARTHUR KOESTLER (in a 1944 letter to his friend GEORGE ORWELL)

Does UK really want to be a vassal state in a new Carolingian Empire - one with which we share just about no values?

A glance at the unelected EU Commission or the UN should tell you that the One World Government will not be voted in, but appointed by the elites. I am a campaigner for the Brexit Party, and the conversations with Remainers and Lefties reveals some remarkable truths. When I ask what will happen to democracy, when governments deliberately ignore the democratic will of the people, the response was that democracy had had its day and the people should be ignored.

Just love the fact they call themselves democrats whilst pledging to overturn the Brexit vote and stop Brexit without actually bothering to ask anyone. Mad as hatters .

The "Remainers" are being funded and organised by the NWO Globalist.

They forgot to tell you the part were Europe becomes an islamic state - say in 100 years max. The white man will be fully genocided and these leftists blood will be long dry from the getting thrown off the buildings.
This has nothing to do with empires. It's a suicidal death cult who are hellbent on destroying Europe.
Calling it empires is just another communist deception and a way for them to legitimise the ongoing genocide in Europe with less backlash.

Care in the community has reached breaking point. Time to build new asylums as it isn't working.

It's never a pleasant sight to see middle-aged people acting 'edgy' with profanities on their t-shirts

The LibDem party is full of them and from what I've seen it's middle-class women who are the worst offenders. They're trying to be rebellious, about 30 years too late in many cases, but in fact they have very comfortable lives and really just want to maintain the status quo
