I've never seen such ham-hawing around, stalling, and whining about this or that. Even in the States.

Just do it already. Good God, it was voted on, what, two years ago already and they are still screwing around with this?

Nothing like having a plan in place before deciding to do something...

Well, David Davis has now resigned and he was one of the key figures in the Brexit negotiations ...

He was reputedly one of the 'hard liners' so what will happen next as this pantomime continues?

Now Boris Johnson has resigned. It's all unravelling exactly as planned!

On the plus side, Boris will now be free to appear on Have I Got News For You again

They've put too much importance on avoiding a hard border with Ireland. I don't think the Good Friday Agreement demanded that.

It really excited me to see it was voted to get the heck out. Now, as Herr Rentz mentions, it's been two years hem hawing and now we have those who were negotiating leaving? So, am I correct to understand these folks who are leaving are the ones who were working toward getting it done, or have I misunderstood?! (You know I don't always see it the first time my friend)

I believe people should be outraged at the arse dragging to get it done.

If one finger is lifted by a single IRA member against the border, I would be happy to see London let the Cameronians finally level the whole Goddamned province.

That shows you that even in a "democracy" it's the bureaucracy that essentially decides what's going to happen. My question is of course, Britain was previously a sovereign country, what's the problem of being one again. It's not that this would really freeze trade and other things. To save Europe, the European Union needs to be dissolved.

I'm not sure you can get this where you are: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-pol...-just-happened

Anyway, there are many bureaucrats working on the whole Brexit ('British exit') process, but the Government have yet to agree a 'divorce settlement' with the European Union. Those two ministers who resigned think that Theresa May's deal offer to the EU is too soft i.e. would still leave us too closely enmeshed in EU regulations. Other ministers think it is a realistic offer.

I think a lot of people are quite bored with it all. I voted leave mostly to get back full control of immigration but I know it would need a more nationalistic government to actually use that control.

I happen to think that these resignations (..there have been two more minor ones today) are all part of the theatre.

Next thing the government will collapse - as planned! - and the Labour Party will be swept into parliament on a 'Keep Britain in the EU' ticket.
