Post Americans - When Did Your Ancestors Arrive?

This question is addressed to Americans and Canadians. When did your families arrive in North America? If you know the exact years when they came, please post them, but to answer the poll it's obviously only necessary to know the period in which the immigrated.

Also, in case your ancestors arrived in more than one era, I made the poll multiple-choice

One of my relatives was into this, I am not. This relative told me one of my English ancestors died in America in 1640 (as I recall). Don't hold me to this absolute date, however.

Hehe... one of my ancestors went to Chicago, made money, and returned to Montenegro to fight in WWI. He never went back. Can I vote?

To the best of my knowledge, my earliest ancestor to arrive in America was my Greatx10-Grandfather in 1622.

Connecticut Puritans for my paternal grandmother's father. Plymouth Pilgrims for my maternal grandfather. Other parts of the family I have traced were from the Mid-Atlantic and Virginia colonies about the same era, yet since I have Canadian descent, I have opened the spectrum wider until the 1920 mark to cover any unforeseen ancestors from Normandy and Brittany. I know that my last ancestor is my paternal line in 1910 from England.

Post Re: Americans - When did your ancestors arrive?

I don't have any definite dates for arrivals in America on either side of my family. However, I have reason to believe that some of my maternal ancestors
may have been *ahem* transported from England to America in the 1750s. The the relative whose birthdate is documented as the oldest in America was born in 1814.

My paternal line arrived in the US from Germany some time between the 1840s and the 1860s. I have heard that my family can traced in Germany at least
    back to the 1500s.

1880-1920 & 1920-present. Returning to Europe soon, so the circle will be complete.

The earlier your ancestors came in America, the higher is probability of native-american blood in your genealogy tree.

    That's not necessarily true actually
