i'm not updated in medi and east europeans countries. Easier in the old days when it was great empires, unlike today. The reason why i thought it was many jews in Polen is because i had 2 jews from polen in my class. Anyway i know that country is some of the old Austrian empire, so i guess it's some place around the medi close to italy.

I think you have to read an history book. England has always been our worst enemy, except in 1914-1918. Even in 1940, when England was our "ally", they attacked our marine in Mers el-Kébir and killed 3,000 of our soldiers. Never heard of 100 years war, Napoleonic wars, Indian/American wars, Fachoda ? It seems that the education in Norway is worse than in America... But it's true that Croatia is Baltic according to you.

Even though this is a low-brow discussion area keep in mind that these kind of comments are not tolerated. This is the Lounge not the Free-speech area where such a comment may well have been overlooked.

However I have taken the comment out as I do not think that labelling two identifiable groups of people as "the scum of europe" as something positive in relation to this fun exercise. As a result you have been warned under the forum rules for...
Incitement-We allow fair and benevolent criticism of all races; subraces; ethnicities; peoples; religious, cultural and social communities; as well as of ideologies; philosophies; or any other ideas; as well as of persons and Members; attitudes; and conduct, if presented in a civil and non-insulting manner. Your attitude and presentation shall determine whether you will face disciplinary procedures.
So it would be in your best interest to be somewhat more conscious of how you express yourself upon others under the guidelines as above. I am sure you can conceive a more civil manner in which to express such thoughts.

Also familiarising yourself with the rules would be a help too.

On a brief note to all others on this thread. Please keep in mind that if you have any criticism to express in the future like the above make sure it is presented in a civil fashion.

    Thank you.

The reason the ships were destroyed was the fear the Germans might get hold of them, of course you get the theorists who will go and make claims it was a genocide of French soldiers but come on, which version do YOU think makes sense ?.

England + France have had a turbulent history but if you want to continue to view England as an enemy then do so by all means, meanwhile most people will realise thats history and this is the 21st Century.

Well, was not William the conquerer the king of England the one who took over England. He was a duke from Normandie and propebly french. He's bloodline was never ended so i guess England was ruled by french ancestry for about 700y or something around that. I know about all the strifes France and England, but in the later years it seems like they had a good alliance versus Germany?

Only between 1904 and 1945... And guess who was at the power in France...

A country which destroys the ships of its own ally... Perfidious Albion deserves its name

I don't hate England because of our turbulent common history, but because nowadays English are Americans' lackeys and try to divide Europe (stupid conflicts between Franco-Germans and Spain, Italy, Eastern states, ... about Iraqi war, ...). I think there is an irreconcilable opposition between Europeans and Anglo-Saxons. And Anglo-Saxons try to destroy/divide/weaken Europe to dominate it. So I cannot see them as my "allies".
