Weird, I had thought about Steven Hawking yesterday; that he lives remarkably long for someone with ALS, namely 54 years (average survival time is about 4 years; previous world record 20 years). And that we didn't hear much from him as of late ... with the exception that the so-called "Hawking Conspiracy Theory" hit the mainstream media in January 2018:

If you have never heard of it, here is a brief summary:
Researchers believe that Hawking's career was completely fabricated and that various lookalike actors were used playing his role in public in order to promote an atheist agenda and to advance theoretical physics models for which every other living physicist with a reputation lesser than Hawking's would have been ridiculed. And, I suppose, the powers that be find it funny that nobody notices it or asks questions. Note how his teeth, nose, ears, and looks change from photo to photo (e. g. from 43 to 44, in the year 1985). Sometimes he even seems to get younger...
