Why Are So Many Great Europeans Dinaroid?

Some more than others, but here is just a list of people with Dinaroid (or more generally, West Asian influenced) noses.

    Goethe

    da Vinci

    Galileo

    Wagner

    Mozart

    Bach

    Euler

    John Locke

    Shakespeare

    Kepler

    Halley

    Leibniz

    Descartes

    Carl Linnaeus

    Gauss

    Michelangelo

    Dante

And obviously many more. To me, this trend is unavoidable - yet at the same time, the basic stock from which most of these men come from is Western European (excepting the Italians), and the area around the Dinaric Alps also seems thick as shit.

What is to be made of this?

If only we had someone like Agrippa still here, but I would very much like to see what traits are most common among intellectuals.

"Faces that are perceived as highly intelligent are rather prolonged with a broader distance between the eyes, a larger nose, a slight upturn to the corners of the mouth, and a sharper, pointing, less rounded chin.

By contrast, the perception of lower intelligence is associated with broader, more rounded faces with eyes closer to each other, a shorter nose, declining corners of the mouth, and a rounded and massive chin."

There certainly seems to be a correlation between that and neolithic features though - if only they took measurements such as vault height, cephalic index etc!

Yup, plenty of examples. I would love for there to be more large-scale testing on this - to my mind though, intelligence seems to be correlated (from the studies I've seen) with the "Nobilid" type

But seriously, traits on the Taurid spectrum generally seem to be related to intelligence - at least among Western Europeans. Beaker folk supremacy?

Also Nordic-Dinaric: Copernicus, Newton, Schiller, Ernst Mach, Wolfgang Ketterle. Maybe it is because of Dinaric sense of fantasy and sense of independence and Nordic self discipline and talent for organization.

They aren't, because Dinaroid doesn't mean anything.

That isn't an argument, just a statement. Could you elaborate at least?
"Stürzten wir wohl im Dunkel – wir starben nicht! Immer war Sehnsucht die Straße und Ziel das Licht.
Immer war Kraft wie lebendiges Bauernkorn, Immer wehte die Fahne des Glaubens vorn.
Tausend Jahre war Deutschland der Hölle nah – Tausend Jahre sprach Gott zu Deutschland: Ja!"

Perhaps geography plays an important role? Majority of the examples posted above are Germans, and there is a decent Dinaric element in Germany, and even stronger in neighbouring countries, for example Austria and Switzerland.

Also, here are some extra examples of "great" Europeans who had strong Dinaric element:

    Nikola Tesla (Serbian)
    Erwin Schroedinger (Austrian)
Max Planck (German, also had Nordic elements I think)
    G.W. Friedrich Hegel (German)
    Nietzsche (German)
