Queen Isabella of Spain and Her Reason(s) for the Expulsion

When you read up on Queen Isabella, you learn that she had some Gothic ancestry. That should qualify her as a Germanic person. What do the other forum members know of her life and why she ordered the expulsion of the jews in her kingdom? All I have ever seen of her has been shown through our zionist sieve of a media. If you research her life story and the expulsion of the sephardic people, it's always told through a jewish perspective.

Reina Isabella (1451-1504) had a very diverse background as with other royals, but from researching her immediate ancestors I can say she most certainly had much Germanic ancestry, in addition to native Celtiberian. And Germanic not just from Visigothic, but some of her ancestors had also come from the Germanic tribes in France and England.

There were many factors why she expelled the Jews, both immediate and long-standing. One of the long-standing was the awareness that Jews had opened the gates of Iberian cities and actively aided the Moorish conquerors, sometimes even serving as armed garrisons on their behalf:

This was never forgotten by the Spaniards, but there were also many immediate reasons. The main one was the Marrano phenonmenon: Many Jews were pretending to convert to Christianity, only to Judaize within the Church. This was creating a real problem, because these Marranos sought vengeance against Spaniards for having infringed both on their slave-trade and their usury within the Peninsula. There were many laws being made against those activities, which caused the anger of Jews.

Around this time, Spanish Gentiles also became aware of the Talmud and what it said against "goyim" and their sacred figures of Jesus and Mary. Jewish communities across the Peninsula remained connected with each other and helped out their own in a way that blatantly formed a state within a state. All of these factors brought the anger of Spaniards against Jews.

Contrary to popular belief, spread by the media and academia, the Spanish Inquisition was not designed to "persecute" the Jews (being established throughout the country AFTER the expulsion of professing Jews) but only targeted professing Christians, most of whom were Jewish infiltrators. Incidentally, the Inquisition has been greatly exaggerated as even the BBC has admitted:

One book I'd recommend is "Isabella of Spain: The Last Crusader", by William Thomas Walsh. He wrote it from a strongly Catholic traditionalist perspective, while revealing many un-PC facts about the Jewish influence. Not surprisingly, this book has been attacked as "anti-Semitic" since they don't like that its fully documented and proves the hostile role of Jews in Spain at this time. It also revealed the constant patience of Isabella and other Spanish monarchs, which these Jews consistently violated. So the expulsion of 1492 was a long time coming.

Thank you for your response. I will refer to your citations and recommended books in order to, hopefully, understand her reaction to jews in Iberia; as well, as other monarchs and/or peoples to them.

Queen Isabella the Catholic tossed the chosen ones out because they were.. pests. I am being nice when I call the chosen ones pests.

Queen Isabella of Spain did what any reasonable politician would do. Getting a hostile group within your borders removed. And indeed the Jews were hostile towards Spanish Gentiles, as proven by their collaboration, slaving, business (usury) and other practices. This seems to have been the modus operandi of Jews, not only in Spain.

I found the book you were referring to:

I recall there was some edict by Queen Isabella, it might be interesting to have a closer look at this.
