Feminists Have Forced Companies to Replace the Word ‘Woman’

Companies have come under fire for using the word “womxn” instead of “woman,” after worrying the latter word excludes transgender people. Feminists have argued that it is biological women who are being excluded by the newly popular word, and that no one calls men “mxn.” The Wellcome Collection apologised on Wednesday after being criticised for using the word to describe women and non-gender-conforming people in promotional material for its new exhibition “daylighting”, a piece of artwork that “explores the presence of womxn through their art, thinking and speculations”. Jess Phillips, the MP for Birmingham Yardley said in response: “I’ve never met a trans woman who was offended by the word woman being used, so I’m not sure why this keeps happening. As if internet dissent now replaces public policy. I get what they are trying to do but why is it only women not men where this applies.” Feminist campaigner Carolie Criado Perez agreed, adding: “What the hell? You can’t just make up words. “Who are these ‘collaborators’ that told you it was ok to wholesale change the word for 50% of the human race? “Aside: I’m really fed up of women being just a big grab bag of anyone who isn’t a proper default human, aka a man. Read some bloody de Beauvoir & pull your head out of your a–.” Writer Deborah Orr responded angrily to the museum, writing “Fxxx off.” A spokesperson for the museum apologised, adding that the word will no longer be used. They said in a statement: “We should have put more thought into whether this was the right term to use when communicating about the event. We made a mistake, and we should not have used it. We’re sorry that we made the wrong call. “We invite challenges to our thinking and we listen to our audience, so we’re removing the word from the website and from our communications about the event.” Clothing shop H&M has also been criticised by feminists, after an event it is sponsoring used the word. Her Stories, a fundraising initiative, advertises that it is supporting “charities dedicated to womxn seeking asylum and refuge in the U.K. Spelling women differently to emphasise inclusivity, the organisation has launched the first womxn-only art auction; for womxn, by womxn.” Read more on the Telegraph.

I have no idea , where the word 'woman' comes from .

The word 'woman' contains the word 'man' , therefore the feminists likely want to replace that part of the word .

It is kind of "psychological kosherness" .
I wonder , why feminists wear unkosher man's clothing .

Let's try to shred the word 'woman' to find roots :

1.) Wo means where in German language : Whereman , where it is a man ?

2.) War man : Some women are much more warrior-like , than soft males .

3.) Worm Anne : Nidhögger nagging on Hercule's XXXshortXXX tree of life .

4.) Warm Mam : Warm Mama

5.) Warn Man : Men be warned by the sight of females

6.) Worn Man : Females worn out by men; Women weavering men's clothes

7.) Whom Man : Whose wife is that ?

8.) Von means of in German language : Build from Man as in the Old Testament , and the Rib is the largest curved bone in a male's body

9.) Wonne means pleasure in German language : Men's pleasure

10.) Wanne means kettle, bath tube, large pot in German language : Men's tube giving birth to humans (mankind)

11.) Vieh means cattle in German language : Man's property

12.) Votze is a German word for vagina : Vagina human

13.) Vor means ahead in German language : Shows up at the Eastern Night Sky two hours ahead the house-band

    14.) Fort Man : Housewife

15.) Ford Man : Man's trailing tailing partner

16.) Pforte means gate in German language : Man's Gate to step out and say "hel low become verden werden world"

    17.) More Beer ...... And you ?
Mk 10:18 What do you call me a good master, no-one is good .

Writer Deborah Orr responded angrily to the museum, writing “Fxxx off.” A spokesperson for the museum apologised,

Actually what the spokesperson should have replied was:

    -----------------------
"Please acquire some manners and appropriate behavior before sending us communications in the future. We will not reply any further to impolite and aggressive language. We will switch back to using the word "woman" from this time on and never again ponder changing it to accommodate various loud groups and their various agendas."
    -----------------------

I don't care if it's a woman, feminist, man, male chauvenist .... whoever .... if your first communication to someone or something is "fxxx off" or similar phrase, you do not deserve any reply but being told to act civil and write an intelligent, thought-out opinion!

We are turning into a "civilization" of people who feel they can be rude and obnoxious right off the bat. Maybe it's the anonymity of sending off an email behind the safety of a screen but I'm also seeing this escalate in the 'real world'.

I've never heard of the word "womxn” .... sounds unpronounceable and silly.

Let's be clear here, feminists have not forced companies to do anything. Just because some people are bullying other people at companies, the target of the bullying is the one responsible for the changes and not the bully.

Exactly. But some invested board members are concerned about bad PR resulting from their refusal to comply with this lunatic fringe.

Aside from an ever increasing number of mortals who have willfully chosen to worship Satan and his minions, our battle has always been against the powers and principalities operating surreptitiously throughout this twisted world.

    Wikipedia:

The spelling of "woman" in English has progressed over the past millennium from wīfmann to wīmmann to wumman, and finally, the modern spelling woman. In Old English, wīfmann meant "female human", whereas wēr meant "male human". Mann or monn had a gender-neutral meaning of "human", corresponding to Modern English "person" or "someone"; however, subsequent to the Norman Conquest, man began to be used more in reference to "male human", and by the late 13th century had begun to eclipse usage of the older term wēr. The medial labial consonants f and m in wīfmann coalesced into the modern form "woman", while the initial element wīf, which meant "female", underwent semantic narrowing to the sense of a married woman ("wife").

It is a popular misconception that the term "woman" is etymologically connected to "womb". "Womb" is actually from the Old English word wambe meaning "stomach" (modern German retains the colloquial term "Wampe" from Middle High German for "potbelly").

Unless you have some information the article doesn't mention, it may very well have been feminist/SJW propaganda which somehow convinced the company to do this - companies do it all the time for that reason only. And it wouldn't even change anything if a tranny was bullied. It's just virtue signalling.

The woman who was pissed off, Perez, is an obvious rad fem and hence an activist type herself, sadly media rarely bother to explain such matters - this issue is entirely related to the conflict between standard feminists who want "inclusivity" for transgenders and fringe rad fems, who view transgenders negatively. Deborah Orr is also a feminist and writes for The Guardian.
