Two small projects, a awl with antler handler. I like when it's small, makes you able to work with leather quicker than with a long handle. I tried heating the awl with fire, and then forcing it into the bone, but that didnt work too well. So I ended up using my drill. The end is not levelled, I think it feels better with the way I hold it.

The other one is firesteel mounted in a piece of throw away wood I found outside. I have to file the wood down and then sand it so it will look and feel much better. I simply used superglue, but I want to try to make glue out of pine resin and wood coal/ash.

I love going mushroom hunting in the fall and although I'm not a great photographer I do like to take pictures of them. Sometimes I try to get artistic and they turn out nicely. Unfortunately my macbook died a few months ago and it had all my best pictures on it A few managed to survive though.

I don't have recent art uploaded, but I did stumble upon some old MS Paint pictures I did freshman or sophomore year of high school while bored in class. Seeing this thread I thought I'd share. Looking back these are a bit embarrassing (seems I was bit of a retard), but here ya go!

    After Durer

Here is a drawing I did a few days ago after Durer's 'man of sorrows'.
It's a freehand copy, so it is not exact. I wanted to capture the feeling the Durer had, while studying his pen work closely.
What struck me was that Durer has every mark make a meaning - there are no superfluous lines.
It also demonstrates a particluar Germanic use of line.

I recently picked up my old hobby again. This is a free style tattoo I made on a friend. I dont like this 'old skool' style that much though, but it turned out quite well(for the first time in 4 years again, that is).
I didnt use any pre made designs, I just used a ballpoint pen to draw.
