Douglas Reed: The Battle for Rhodesia (1966) & The Siege of Southern Africa (1974)

Although they are old and have been overtaken by time, I still recommend Douglas Reed's writings on Southern Africa. Reed was an excellent journalist and writer and exhibited great clarity of thought on the subjects on which he wrote. Although Reed was not pro-NS as a journalist in Europe in the 1930s, his writings are well worth reading and were in many ways most prescient.

Reed's Somewhere South of Suez: A further survey of the grand design of the twentieth century although published in 1949/1950 is also of considerable interest.
