What is Your View on Galicia and the Galizien People (Ukraine)?

I was always wondering if you considered them something other than Slavic, like Germanic or something.

Galicia is only a small Western part of Ukraine, they're hardly representative of Ukraine as a whole.

    What to think of them?

Not very much. It's a center for costume Nazis and rabid fanatics (who are ironically enough financed by Jewish Oligarchs) who embody most of the negative stereotypes associated with the popular Western media caricature of what the "far right is supposedly like."

My personal view - avoid them like the plague. Nothing good comes from that mob.

Somu Ukranians have Gothic blood from the Goths of Theodoro. However Ukranisn culture is much more Slavic, Turkic and Circassian. I remember the Germans considered some Cossacks Germanic during the war on the grounds of Gothic heritage. Of course the Cossacks are cool Germanic or not.

Galicia was considered partially germanizeable. This is why it was incorporated into the Generalgouvernement instead of into the Reichskommissariat Ukraine (the Generalgouvernement was to be fully part of the Reich after 10 years or so).

It's a case a bit similar to the Goranenvolk and the Walddeutsche of Poland.

Is there any reason to think the native people of Galicia are anything other than Slavic? The people were or are a mixture of Ukrainians and Poles. Previously there was a German community there:

There is also East Germanic, Lithuanian, East Iranian, Uralic, Turkic and Circassian admixture in the Ukrainians and they imitated the Turkic steppe lifestyle.
