Does 1989 count as the 80s? I have gothic stripes, this is not a morning song.

Red Temple Spirits - Dive in Deep

Duran Duran was pretty typical 80s Music. Their album Rio came out in 1982. Two of the hits from that one:

    Duran Duran - Rio

Duran Duran - Hungry Like The Wolf
Most people think as they are trained to think, and most people make a majority.

Robert Palmer had a couple of memorable videos in the 80s. The first one is from 1985's Riptide album:

Robert Palmer - Addicted To Love

The second was from 1988's Heavy Nova album (yep, same mannequin band):

    Robert Palmer - Simply Irresistible

Both of these were among the many 80s songs featured in the film American Psycho, which was set in the 80s and depicts a lot of the style and music from that era. It was made in 2000, just in time to capture the New York City business district as it had been at the time. One of my favorite scenes from that film:

    American Psycho -Business Card Scene

Some other songs in the film:

"You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)" – Dope (Dead or Alive cover)
"What's on Your Mind" (Pure Energy Mix) – Information Society
"Pump Up the Volume" – M/A/R/R/S
    "True Faith" – New Order
"Walking on Sunshine" – Katrina and the Waves
"I Touch Roses" – Book of Love
"The Lady in Red" – Chris de Burgh
"If You Don't Know Me by Now" – Simply Red
    "In Too Deep" – Genesis
    "Sussudio" – Phil Collins
"Red Lights" – Curiosity Killed the Cat
"Greatest Love of All" - Whitney Houston
"Hip to Be Square" - Huey Lewis and the News
Most people think as they are trained to think, and most people make a majority.

David Lee Roth - Yankee Rose

"Remember that, even when those who move you be kings or men of power, your soul is in your keeping alone. When you stand before God, you cannot say, "But I was told by others to do thus,"or that virtue "was not convenient at the time." This will not suffice."
