Are you a UP survivor?
As you know, my theory is East Asians were preadapted to Neolithic then urban conditions because they carried their bairns in slings. What seems to be the standard HBD explanation - rice farmers living at greater density than wheat farmers - doesn't explain why Navajo babies are calmer than Chinese babies.
I can tell you from a bit of experience American Indian babies hardly cry at all. They are quiet as hell.
My first response when reading the title was : duh, of course humans are still evolving.
However today in the Western world there is this secular believe that homo sapiens stopped evolving roughly 10,000 years ago, except for maybe a few cosmetic changes. Of course there is no explanation needed that this believe comes forth from the equalitarianism that holds such a strong grip on our political culture.

it is only to be met with in minds which are naturally noble or
cultivated by good examples and a refined education.
