Not sure if I said so before , but the red was more of an "auburn" quality anyway. With time the red became less intense, whilst the brown part turned from light to dark brown, hence the red is only clearly visible in sunlight or when my hair is long. To most it thus commonly looks like dark brown with a light brown shimmer.

My hair is "ash-blonde". Someone even called it "finnish blond" sometime ago.. Many times the ladies at the barbor shop have been wondering the color of my hair...

I would call my hair brown with auburn highlights. In the summer it goes to light brown with red. When I was a small child it was blond but it darkened around 10. I had a great-great-aunt with red hair that turned bright pink as she aged. unfortunately I have only seen black and white pictures of her.
Here is a shot of my hair in natural light and back when I hennaed it.

It is not my thing but I have seen lovely blue, purple and green hair.
I liked it red but just have not bothered with it in the last year. I think that using herbs like henna, hibiscus, cinnamon(red), sage, black tes, indigo, black walnut, elderberries, henna & grape juice(brown-black) mullin, camomile, calendula (blond) is a lovely practice that encourages women to enjoy sensual natural beauty.

Originally blonde with some red in it. Now it just looks like a mess, some brown and some blonde.. Ahh. I hate my hairdresser for making me look like a raccoon..

Dark Brown with natural light brown streaks (more noticeable when longer).

    Gotta love it!

When i was younger i had brilliant red hair, then as i grew older it went darker, more Reddish brown. And the last five years ive started to go really grey(bit like a silver fox!).

Hmm... Hard to say! In the winter my hair is light brown but during the summer it is dark golden blonde.
