What's democracy got to do with anti-racism and anti-anti-Semitism anyways ?

If the mob is racist, then anti-racisism is un-democratic, isn't it ?

If our success arises in a manner other than that of talent or ability, we can have neither pride nor a feeling of worth as our success is then fraudulent.. We therefore prefer a world that rewards or punishes without distinctions, when they are irrelevant to the facts. Those that oppose equality of opportunity prefer a system that institutionalizes favoritism and familyism, where it is not what you can do but who you are that matters and we get instead of an aristocracy of talent one of blood and this is the greatest degeneracy.

He is one of them in the fall to put together a training program for "Prevention of anti-Semitism, racism and undemocratic attitudes", aimed at teachers and school administrators.

From 2013, schools will be offered half-year courses, where among other topics will be anti-Semitism, racism and other group prejudices, democratic emergency, critical thinking and conflict resolution.
You just have to laugh at their obscene hypocrisy... At one hand, they're claiming their aim is to teach "critical thinking" to young students, and in the other, they're admitting to indoctrinize them regarding which ideas and values are acceptable and which are absolutely not. Unfortunately for us, most of our people are too far gone to realize that that makes no sense whatsoever.

Clearly both favouritism/nepotism AND merit-ism are valid in their place.

If the elite are in place by merit alone, there is no reason not to put enemies in high positions, no reason not to fill the halls of power with foreigners, after all, if they are better at what they do, they will do better. Such a position ignores the fact human beings are not abstractions or atomised unconnected beings but creatures with wants and loves and desires, that someone can be very very good at doing bad things and that people do not spring out of nowhere but out of a real organic place in the world, they come into the world belonging to families, to races, to religious groups, and to a multitude of other identities that shape their particular subjectivity and make it and them what they are.

If the elite are in place by favour or nepotism alone then they will slowly degrade in quality since no consideration is made to their ability to serve the position to which they have been appointed.

Any elite which is not "our" elite is a tyranny (and once a people are so atomised as to be incapable of identifying with a particular elite no matter where it comes from they are more or less stuck with tyrannies from then on out).
Any elite which is not qualified is buffoonery.

Favoritism is valid only when it tends to talent and if not it deceives men into thinking too highly of themselves.

Enemies: One of the paradoxical characteristics of man is his innate tendency to project his own conditional mind and weakness on that of others. So it is only logical that what is based on division must create enemies. But because its premise is divisive by nature it is also self destructive. The fragmentation that divides states, will not stop at communities or households. This disunion will be blamed on everything under the sun but it it is always the very nature of the ideal that destroys them, it can not escape itself.

Concerning identity: It is when men have nothing to offer in virtue or talent that they fall back to the only measure of worth that will distinguish them from others.
