    Classify Haakon VII of Norway

Christian Frederik Carl Georg Valdemar Axel born in Charlottenlund Palace near Copenhagen. He belonged to the Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg branch of the House of Oldenburg. The House of Oldenburg had been the Danish royal family since 1448; between 1536–1814 it also ruled Norway when it was part of the Kingdom of Denmark-Norway. The house was originally from northern Germany, where the Glucksburg (Lyksborg) branch held their small fief. The family had permanent links with Norway beginning from the late Middle Ages. Several of his paternal ancestors had been kings of independent Norway (Haakon V of Norway, Christian I of Norway, Frederick I, Christian III, Frederick II, Christian IV, as well as Frederick III of Norway who integrated Norway into the Oldenburg state with Denmark, Slesvig and Holstein, after which it was not independent until 1814). Christian Frederick, who was King of Norway briefly in 1814, the first king of the Norwegian 1814 constitution and struggle for independence, was his great-granduncle.

Prince Carl was raised in the royal household in Copenhagen and educated at the Royal Danish Naval Academy.

    Pred. Nordid/Atlanto-Nordid (?), with a Keltoid tendency.

The Keltic "vibe" makes him look pseudo-Dinarid in the last picture. But Nordid is the main element for sure.

He looked a Nordid-Dinarid-Borreby blend. The Nordid admixture seems the strongest in his phenotype. The high, narrow face, the high rooted convex nose thin nose, the steep narrow forehead, the long neck, the elongated body show the Nordid admixture. The face is broader as the cheeks and a zygomatic processes are stronger and the skull seems broader too, and the chin is wider stronger what might be Borreby traits. The typical Nordid/Mediterranid head looks extreme narrow and its sides are nearly flat (except the ears, of course). His nose-tip seems Dinarid influenced in some picture what might have great chance with German ancestry.

I am posting some more picture about him what show his stronger cheeks and his elongated Nordid stature:

His maternal side is mostly southeastern French, the Swedish kings after 1818 are descended from the French General Bernadotte, so I would guess his Dinaroid traits come from this side, rather than from his paternal, mostly northern German side.

I would agree with a Nordid-Dinaroid blend but it might as well be "Baskid", which can approximately look like a dark, somewhat "exotic" Keltic Nordid, from his French side, with just a minor Nordid influence. Though that's arguably a bit unlikely.
