"Turkey says its military rules of engagement have changed after Syria shot down a Turkish plane that strayed into its territory".

Dont you just love the soothing phrase...."strayed" into Syria's airspace.

Maybe "Wandered" or "Strolled" or even "Got lost like a stray lamb" should be used to describe what in effect is a violation.

The western media is pukemaking in the extreme.

Im sure if a Greek jet "wandered" into Turkish airspace they would blast it down without too much feeling towards Greek sensibilities.

I must say that i also find it strange that the western media gives no mention of Turkeys refusal to abide by UN sanctions, and imports oil and gas in from Iran.......and not to mention the UN sanctions regarding Turkey and its aggresive invasion of Cyprus.

You can rely on the good old whore of western mass media to turn a blind eye in whichever direction she chooses.

The Syrians cant be blamed for being trigger happy.....after witnessing what happened to Libya with the help of UN air forces.

Maybe they were probing the Syrian air defences to see how effective they are....and they got their answer.
Yep, it could only have been a NATO recce and air defense test. Not sure why the Turks and Brits are bawling about it now. You play games and you get burnt don't come crying about it.

NATO are obviously prepping an attack on Syria a la Libya & Iraq.

It is official: Syria is at war!! Assad announces today!!
BEIRUT (Reuters) - Syrian President Bashar al-Assad declared on Tuesday that his country was at war and ordered his new government to spare no effort to achieve victory, as the worst fighting of the 16-month conflict reached the outskirts of the capital.

Syria's state news agency SANA said "armed terrorist groups" had blocked the old road from Damascus to Beirut.
The declaration that Syria is at war marks a change of rhetoric from Assad, who had long dismissed the uprising against him as the work of scattered militants funded from abroad.

"We live in a real state of war from all angles," Assad told a cabinet he appointed on Tuesday in a speech broadcast on state television.

"When we are in a war, all policies and all sides and all sectors need to be directed at winning this war."

Someone on here (Roy batty I think) once said, that if anyone, or any country for that matter steps off the mark or does not toe the line, they are gone. NATO, UN, globalists WANT ALL NATIONS TO fall in behind there dococrazy political criminalization and Syria at the moment is off the mark, though an independent country, she must fall in line or must be destroyed. RIP Syria!

    Crazy world!
