I went to a different grocery store than usual, they have an 'ethnic' food aisle. I was expecting to see the usual kosher, Chinese, Mexican stuff but instead it was full of stuff imported from the Balkans. Most of it was from Bosnia & Herzegovina, and I believe the store is owned by Bosnians. The only Hungarian thing they had was paprika. But they did have 'Bosnian style coffee' (I'm guessing it is like Turkish coffee?) Serbian style bacon, Slovenian horseradish, pickled eggplant
, ajvar, and many boxes of Bulgarian goat cheese
. But I'm kinda wimpy, so I just bought some Croatian cocoa and Bosnian minty tea. But I will be trying some of the other stuff too.
