I'd like to see Canada, USA, Chile, Northern Skandinavia and Finland and the cradle of my family, former East Prussia. Yeah well, I've been to Sweden and Denmark by car and by using the spectacular Öresund bridge but there's too much to see and discover in five days. I could scratch the surface. Nothing more.

Well, I definitely want to revisit Iceland and the States in the future, and maybe also the Himalaya to discover the mountains there.

    India.
Traveling around Europe goes without a doubt, but I've wanted to go to India for some time now. Many of you, if not all of you, would probably protest at the prospect, but I find India a fascinating land. I want to go on a spiritual journey through the oldest and richest land in the world. I want to follow the footsteps of Alexander the Great through Central Asia in the mountains of Afghanistan (Kashmir) & Pakistan, make my way down the Indus, head east, hit the Ganges and follow it north to Mt. Kailash. I want to meet the sadhus, priests, monks, farmers, fishers, the like, to see nature the ancient and modern cities, the temples, the quaint villages. I personally think it would be awesome.
A couple of friends and I have talked about the idea of taking a trip to India, so I have some travelmates if the time arises

Both are Bavarian, i had back there both.
Audi 80 in the late 1980s and a nice BMW 316i later in the early 1990s. I know, i know it is smallest (1,6 L and 110 PS back then) but hey, it was already nice,
and the road-holding was a dream as the same chassis is used for the stronger models (up to the 325i). I once drove to Munich (8h including 2 rests) and was pleased that back then the Autobahn Nuremberg-Munich was largely without tempo limit. See i am decent, i don't even talk about Porsche or Mercedes, just a little BMW will do.

Hmm... I always wanted to go diving in Thailand.
Just had a talk about it with friends at the gym. Two of them are willing to go this december, so I hope we make it a reality this winter .
And if not I`ll probably end up in Germany or western Austria, or both.

I'd visit India too, not for spiritual reasons, but I think it is a very interesting country. I regret I did not travel very far when I still had enough time available. I've only been to several European countries and one time to Canada, so I haven't seen much of the world. I would visit exotic countries anytime (except for dangerous places and overwhelmingly Muslim countries). Visiting far away places and very different cultures is not contradictory to being nationalist, as long as you dont import foreign customs and ideas back home. It's always good to have seen a world different from your every-day life and to get an idea about the way other cultures work, it often makes you appreciate your home all the more. Sometimes people just want to see something else because the circumstances at home annoy them.

Countries / regions I'd like to go to:
    - China
    - India
    - Asia in general
    - Russia
    - Scandinavia (never been there, a shame)
    - USA
    - Carribean Islands
    - Australia and New Zealand

    Places I'll never go to:
    - Turkey
    - Africa
    - Middle East in general and Israel in particular
    - "Poland"
