Why Has the Celtic Cross Become Known As the White Pride Symbol?

Not sure where this would go so....

I don't know why a Germanic or Med or any others would use a Celtic religious symbol to represent them self's. Anyone know how this came to be?, and are there any symbols that could rep Germanic's as a whole?. Swastika is to high profile.

Thor's Hammer is a good symbol.
Thor is called Þunor in Old English and Donar Old High German.

The Celtic Cross is a beautiful symbol and there are many overlaps between Celts and Germanics, especially in Britain but also on the continent.

Yeah but that was created by Type-o-Negative, a band logo has no cultural value.

Change the name of the Swastika to Sunwheel and use a different version of it ...

    or we can use Valknut.

Why? Because the Swastika is practically criminalized everywhere, if not outright banned ( in several European countries). The idea to use the Celtic Cross is an US-WN innovation.

For Germanics it should be Mjolnir.

It is wielded by Thor the protector of the common man (which most are) and is representative of our will to protect our folk.

It sends an obvious message to any of our foes who look upon it.

First thank the mods for fixing my crapy posts, im new at this.

Now i do like the Swastika, but it is just way to high profile for me.

I do like the Celtic cross as well but i just don't see it as something that represents me. This flag of Vinland may have just been made buy some singer but it looks great and is a great idea as far as i see it.

Why Has the Celtic Cross Become Known As the White Pride Symbol?

Maybe because it represents Western European heritage & therefore is not an inclusive symbol that must be shared with others.

    @Dvergr.
I know Type-o-Negative made the vinland flag, but I think its origins have been overshadowed by its use as a european american and vinland symbol.

The thor's hammer and the valknut are good symbols of Asatru and european american heritage in general. However,The valknut seems more mysterious and solemn. The tyr rune is cool also.
