You should add a definition to your post.
I'm currently searching for a good short definition on the net. I'll post it as soon as I find it. ( A non-biased one at that ).

Eugenics is a worthy goal if it is done in a positive way. Killing mentally defective children as happend in Nazi Germany is not the way. Neither is involuntary sterilization of people as was done in Ameica.
If Dr. Werner von Braun, for instance, could have been persuaded to make a donation and this were kept on file for women who wanted children but not a husband, then this form of eugenics, even in this low-tech gross format, gets my approval.
Imagine what we can do with a litte genetic engineering. This is something that we all will have to face, if not as individuals, as citizens of a nation. The reason for this is that some countries, such as China, will have no quams about doing this and doing it on a mass scale. Imagine every new baby born in China having a 160 I.Q. This would be nice for China but a little threatning for the remainder of the world. Other nations would respond in kind.
There is another aspect of eugenics which might be closer to home. This would be a great way to preserve and improve our race. Donations could be collected or purchased from worthy individuals and given to individuals who were compatable and desiring children. A comittee could be set up to make these selections. In any event, eggs and sperm could be preserved and in doing so genetic variation would be benifited.
The key is doing the right thing and doing the right thing for our people while disregarding the latest wave of Jewish "ethicists".

I can only think of morality and our minimal knowledge of natural laws regarding genetics.

I agree with Johnny Reb.There are different causes or theories of down sydrome- substance abuse, physical trauma during pregnancy, and inhalation of strong chemicals and hair dyes during pregnancy,an extra copy of chromosome 21(medically known as trisonomy 21).That means you would have to sterilize everyone because it can happen to anyone's unborn child.Originally Posted by Johnny Reb
