Most Beautiful Cities In the US

What are the most beautiful cities and/or towns in the US?

Personally I'd say for big cities New York, Boston, San Francisco (I have judged largely by aesthetics of the city not erhm the nature of its inhabitants ). As for smaller cities I like Santa Barbara and other small towns on Highway 101.

After all, according to 2010 census it is still 10,6 % White and only 82,1% non Hispanic black.

Putting my black humor expressed in #2 aside, i would opt for Coeur D Alene in Idaho. It is still 95 % White (mostly of German/Scandinavian background) and offers a breathtaking beautiful landscape.

Panorama of Coeur d'Alene from Cougar Bay. The tall building to the right is the Coeur d'Alene Resort.

Coeur d'Alene sits on the western edge of the Coeur d'Alene National Forest. The city is surrounded by forest, which contains several lakes and campgrounds.

I would say Seattle, Portland & San Francisco. The sad thing about beautiful cities is that they attract a leftist, pro-LGBT element that dominates the local politics. Colorado Springs is also a beautiful city& is also relatively conservative.

Perhaps I'm a little biased seeing how it is my birth city and all but I would have to say Boston. It strikes me as very intellectual and historic, with a unique and distinct culture. Also, Boston definitely has a European feel, especially when compared with other major American cities.

I would say that is because most American cities are layed out on a square grid with very straight streets. Boston was founded nearly 400 years ago & most of its major streets were originally cowpaths.

I agree with Æmeric about Portland, OR and Colorado Springs, CO. Not only are the urban areas nice but there is also a lot of wildlife and scenery around those parts.
