A dessert island, better alone than surrounded by something else which I wouldnt belong to.

I've already tried that, and surviving among not my people is quite difficult.

I would also live in Estonia.Yes, the Russian immigrants are troublesome, but at least they are far more civilised than the Islamic, black, and Gypsy filth found here in Germany.

I haven't been elsewhere in Romania than a few days in Bucharest, but that was my experience too. Same prices as in western cities, and I got the impression that the place was "recently westernized". Their old communist architecture, especially that enormous palace, was interesting to look at.

Most the negative views of Romanians in other countries stems from the fact that almost all their emigrants are Gypsies. These people are possibly the worst genetic waste in Europe. Following the Swedish news, I see the occasional story about "Romanians" arrested for rape or burglary or human trafficking - and it's invariably Gypsies who are the culprits. The name "Rumäner" has become a codeword for gypos. The racial distinction between Romanians and Gypsies is always ignored, because of political correctness.

(The relevant Romanian categories are: the ethnic Romanians, the half-white Gypsies, and the obvious Gypsies who look Indian.)

As for Romania itself, I'm pretty indifferent towards it. It does have negative aspects, such as the poverty and Gypsies. But I've also met some dedicated nationalists from Romania both on the net and in real life, they seem to be sympathetic people. For all its flaws, the country has also produced the Iron Guard movement and Corneliu Zelea Codreanu, who I only have admiration for.

Certain parts of Spain, in the north (Asturias for example), look appealing.

I read through the whole thread and it seems that most people like the cold climate. i on the other hand prefer the Mediterranean.

Montenegro is another non Germanic place which looks interesting.

I need to be somewhere green and cool and leafy, and since after Germanics I feel most at home with Celts, I'd say Wales and Ireland. Wales has lovely sheep filled hills and forests and a very interesting, fairy-tale-like language. Ireland is a little less wooded but so very green, and I like Irish folk music.

Northern France I would consider too. It has a strong Germanic substrate and is not as brown and dry as Southern France, but I would really need to get used to hearing French all day. I suppose Normandy would be my first choice within Northern France.

But why then the Canary Islands or Mallorca?
