    Thumbs Down Anti-German Film Scenes

Hollywood is renowned for its anti-German propaganda by keeping the words 'German' and 'Nazi' in the very same concept ever since the aftermath of WW2. Hollywood in its mass produced propaganda WW2 war movies / WW2 documentary films of course only ever depicts the Third Reich as the ultimate most evil empire and thus all Nazis (Germans) must be evil.. Sinister but its how it appears year in and year out..

If you come across typical anti-German scenes in their movies please if interested post them here so as to construct a very obvious pattern to other members and *Cough** the obvious lurkers! upon Skadi..

This is just one sad example to start and is in the name of supposed comedy via Hollywood from a certain mindset that is far from funny but in reality quite extremely scary..

For those people unknowing and whom have never been to Germany and then see this rubbish dressed up as comedy it obviously creates a specific image in their heads of the German speakers in Europe as a people.. This depiction of Germans overall is actually racial vilification in its reality..

It also depends on the actor in the role and what they want to say.

For example in "Valkyerie" Tom Cruise is angry about Jewish deaths and feels like less of a soldier.

In the German movie "Stauffenberg" about the same character and plot, Stauffenberg is angry about Hitler's incompetence and that they are losing the war.

Hollywood likes to alter history to send a different message and quite often it is to appease an actor or lobby group.

The only time they get it somewhat right is German vs Russian soldiers in which case both sides are brutal.
I grew up on a belief of honour, courage and the old world values. The world isn't about that anymore, preferring to die a slow death of fast food and cheap thrills.

Inglorious Basterds is full of anti-German scenes and the words "German" and "Nazi" are used interchangeably, e.g. a quote from the opening scene:

We will be cruel to the Germans, and through our cruelty they will know who we are. And they will find the evidence of our cruelty in the disemboweled, dismembered, and disfigured bodies of their brothers we leave behind us. And the German won't not be able to help themselves but to imagine the cruelty their brothers endured at our hands, and our boot heels, and the edge of our knives. And the German will be sickened by us, and the German will talk about us, and the German will fear us. And when the German closes their eyes at night and they're tortured by their subconscious for the evil they have done, it will be with thoughts of us they are tortured with. Sound good?
More anti-German slurs and generally vulgar, disrespectful attitude:

Inglourious Basterds Movie CLIP - Business is A-boomin'

The movie has been extensively discussed in this thread.

However, political correctness about WWII is not present only at Hollywood. For example, the German movie Dresden: An Inferno - also discussed here on Skadi - is supposed to portray the suffering of the Germans related to the bombing. Yet still, there is a scene where as far as I can remember it is the Germans who are blamed for having brought the bombing onto themselves.

Full of Anti-German scenes? The whole movie is one big anti-German scene! Any German/white person who enjoys it whatosever should be beyond ashamed of themselves... admittedly, I saw it out of curiosity, and fell asleep halfway thru it. Thank God.

Given how many Americans are of German descent, I'm sure many enjoyed this piece of sh!t... their ancestors would smite them for it. I'm sure.

The German Soldier remains brave and true to his cause till the last, unlike the Jews who don't know anything but bloodlust.

This film is decidedly Anti-German to the bone. There is a seen where a beautiful German Frualine is stabbed with a knife by a sadistic jew looking Jiminez, later on all the Germans attending the party is locked in a seller and burned alive.

Although the word "Commando" was wrongly used to describe all Boer soldiers, a commando was a unit formed from a particular district. None of the units was organized in regular companies, battalions or squadrons. The Boer commandos were individualists who were difficult to control, resented formal discipline or orders, and earned a British jibe that"every Boer was his own general".
