    What is Your Dream Occupation?

    Hello everyone,

I realize that we have a long thread below discussing our current jobs and ventures, but I thought I would create a similar one with a different spin to it:

What is your dream career? Is there something you plan to/or are in the process of working or studying towards? I am hoping that with this thread we might be able to help each other out with tips or advice on how to get started in our desired paths, or just to read and gain inspiration.

As for myself, I have a degree in Political Science and have no idea what I want to do with it. I recently returned to Canada from a teaching position in Japan and have come up with ideas ranging as far as joining the police, to pursuing my rather unlucrative passion; the guitar, to private teaching, to pursuing a masters degree (which part of me does not want to do), or even to starting as a free lance graphic designer- creating band logos and album art on the side.

I'm sure that many other liberal arts majors feel the same way I do. We are told that with our degrees we will have almost endless possibilities of what we can do. I am now learning that having numerous POTENTIAL options, rather than a set course, can be a curse rather than a blessing.

...maybe I should have studied dentistry.

I'm okay with farming, lots of time to think in solitude, get outside, observe the cycles of nature and produce something needed by the world. I just wish I inherited property instead of having to work for someone else...

National Socialism is the only salvation for Germanics and Europids everywhere. Capitalism, libertarianism, and communism is the enemy.

National socialized collectivism must prevail over radical individualism.

My aspirations are Anthropologist/Archaeologist, Blacksmith. In my later years just being a father & husband with a plot of land to farm and garden while I write my books is enough for me.
If none of those work out, I have no problem being a wandering Sadhu.

My fantasy job would to be in a Doom/Stoner/Progressive Metal band

I want nothing to do with modern technology and white-collar trappings

    Farmer's wife.

Unlikely to happen now. So I don't know. I started training to be a midwife, but I think I'd find that too upsetting now.

I guess anything with nature, like a nature reserve warden. Anything where I'm outdoors most of the time.

If I was 17 and making different decisions then I'd have worked a lot harder on my chemistry and tried to get into Vet school. Doing a religion degree was pointless.

I came into England with Oak, Ash and Thorn, and when Oak, Ash and Thorn are gone I shall go too.
