Belgium Second To Ban Burka

BELGIUM will become Europe’s second country to ban the burka when a new law comes into force next month.



The move comes after France banned Islamic face veils in April.




The Belgian legislation was approved after being voted through by MPs last month.




Liberal MP Daniel Bacquelaine said: “It is a law that takes into account a fundamental principle, the equality between men and women.




“Moreover, if we want an open society, the visibility of the face is essential.




“Humanity comes from one’s face.”




In France, women flouting the law can be fined £135 and men forcing them to wear the veils up to £25,000 but so far no fines have been imposed.

Times are looking up! Wished all Germanic and Western countries adopt the same law.
Why don't they just banned Muslims all-together? and stop beating around the bush!

I oppose anything related to islam in Europe or here in America.
But, would not the removal of the burkha possibly contribute to our woes?
In my opinion we need to keep this invading religion as alien-looking as possible.
You remove the mask you make these people that much more approachable, and accessible.

This might encourage many a rebellious muslim woman to demand more rights to fight the old system of sharia Law.
If you remove the mask from their face would this not increase the possibilities of race-mixing or intermarriage?

They just keep removing one barrier after the other for these invaders.
Let them keep their hoods and they will be far more resented.
If you expose the face then that will make them seem more human.

This is just one more step by the conspirators toward complete naturalization.
The "victory" is nothing more than a bone thrown to the people to keep them quiet while the worst is still to come.

Please excuse my scepticism but I don't believe the political will is there to impose ANY fines on women wearing burkas.

As far as I'm aware, nobody has been fined yet in France despite many women flouting the law quite openly during the 2 months that this "ban" has been in force.

Sure, you do have a valid point here. But I was only referring to the real burka, not to headscarfs. I personally find these burkas extremely offensive, I'd like to see at least the face of my enemy. Banning burkas does not included "normal" headscarfs, so I believe our enemy would still be visible.
