Thumbs Up Songs That Speak Blood and Soil

Post your favorite Blood&Soil themed black/pagan metal songs.

I dont mean bands with open NS propaganda or the riding on the viking warrior image, but more those songs that breath the spirit of Blood&Soil, that make you feel connected to your folk and the land, that have something of that mystic magic in them that speaks to your instincts and so on.

Now, Black Metal is this more often than not anyway, but lets collect some of the stronger songs of this kind.

    Fen - Soilbound

From the split with De Arma "Towards the Shores of the End"
Fen in general is very "earthy" and organic, highly recommended!

Naglfar - As the Twilight Gave Birth to the Night

.... these dark surroundings are mine, from the smallest stone to the tallest tree....

    Lord Belial - Purify Sweden

Okay, a bit battle never hurts

    Utgard - Black Sun

Thones and Dominions is a very blood&soil album and very totalitarian, the band wrote "my" song »Witch« without even knowing it ....where ravens fly I see ancient wisdom....

    Walknut - Come Dreadful Ygg

just beautiful and very earthy too

Here's a first into your collection. Unfortunately it's too long for YouTube, so it had to be split in two parts.

Heimdalls Wacht - Weltenbrand (Part 1)

Heimdalls Wacht - Weltenbrand (Part 2)
Ganz er selbst sein darf jeder nur, solange er allein ist. Wer also nicht die Einsamkeit liebt, der liebt auch nicht die Freiheit; denn nur wenn man allein ist, ist man frei. Schopenhauer

Hm, black metal promotes individualism and satanism, that isnt very folkish. But I love the music, just not the culture.

Agalloch, Horn... And I like Darkthrone's interpetration of Vesaas poem "Snø og granskog" (Snow and pineforest)

And this version of Ivar Aasen's song:

It's about that we Norwegians built our own houses, put down the poles for the framework, that we lived out by the sea... Hail the Norwegian etc
