I suspect that sort of too, but on his wiki there was no mention of it, and even if he was, he's mainly a publisher, and in that he makes a jewish impression indeed hehe, appearing on many recordings of that time as producer (hijacking they're really good at, arent they ). However, the bands look all very much old-stock American to me, I mentioned him because of his publisher role (although some other articles claimed that he also was a song-writer, but there's not much to support this, specially in hindsight on that the recordings where he's mentioned are very diverse and stretch through all music genres of that time, so highly unlikely )

I know that true metalheads don´t think of me as "one of them" as I´m only listening to Symphonic Metal , but would it be wrong to say that Heavy Metal developed from Hard Rock or is at least connected with it?

It may also not be forgotten that it was white Elvis who made rock'n'roll popular here, not its black protagonists

Never knew that Elvis made Rock and Roll popular in Europe.I guess you learn something new everyday!

Heavy metal is a more specialized form of hard rock, and the heaviness, believe it or not, is blues-based (for the bass guitarist). The technical ability required to play it, however, often jazz for the lead guitarist, and neoclassical for the rhythm guitarist. There are not very many great heavy metal singers, but Ronnie James Dio, Ozzy, David Coverdale, and Robert Plant all exhibit both great vocals and musicianship. I would say King Diamond is perhaps the most skilled vocalist by sheer ability, but most would not agree with me. In any case, skill is not the same as wisdom, just as there are flashy guitar players who cannot work out a song.

Out of interest, do rightwing metal fans check to see if the record labels are jewish owned? I think quite a few of them are especially the more mainsteam ones. It would be a cruel irony if jews were getting rich out of angry white youths wanting to vent thier anger. Megadeth for example is formed by jew Mustaine on a jewish record label. I was into metal for a couple of years but I grew out of it. Sitting in your bedroom listening to loud metal only offers a temporary release ,I am sure our governments would love us sitting bitter and alone listening to music they get rich from.
Metal is pretty much dead now in england, its mostly a scandinavian\finnish thing, many of them tend to be about abstract mythological and morbid themes. Tyr are meant to be popular in right wing circles but then they wrote anti nazi songs. They are all just out to make money at the end of the day. Silence and nature is the best music for getting rid of stuff on your mind.

I don't think metal is dead in England or the UK for that matter,

I just think its undergoing a change, folk metal is becoming much more prominent now as people become more intune with nationalistic feelings.

Tyr (a great band)for example do overtly anti christianity videos,

but profess to be multi cult or atheistic, I believe that its so they don't get screwed over by the establishment tbh.

In my opinion mainly the fan base of the country determines if metal is dead or not.
@Vectis Indeed Scandinavia and Finland have many of the best metal bands. But they have many fans in Western and Central Europe. A discrete example: Sabaton (Swedish) has by far the most fans in Poland. Also Graspop(BE) and Wacken (GER) are 2 of the biggest festivals in Europe. The country of origin of a metal band plays no role.

Yes, indeed. It's sad, but the metal mags, the more mainstream ones at least, "require" a confession to the "values of the judeo-christian west", ie to be multikult, tolerant, anti-nazi etc else you'll have no place there, even to the point that they reject advertising of labels (and even more, reject ads from labels for having one "un-pc" band so that all other bands suffer too). It's really getting ridiculous.

On the other hand, you can get out very un-pc stuff through that confession, where your band will be hailed while the writers dont even get what the bands are saying So, actually, it's worth the "investment". And not all do it anyway. Some simply dont care about mainstream promotion.

Specially for Black Metal and Folk (black) metal the risk of having a jew as label boss is rather low. It's mainly underground labels of musicians who run a label as well, and most of them are very very un-pc

Another great folk band from England is Fen, beautiful stuff

    Fen - Soilbound

More England. If one is into the Darkthrone kind of music, there's also Blutvial (motto: dont reinvent the fuckn wheel), I like them for their directness, then for the DSBM fans there's Self-Inflicted Violence (very "cosmic" sort of BM, beautiful stuff) and if one is into Black/Doom, there's also Volition, only know their (admittedly very sick) debut album which was recorded/mastered by the bassist of Lazarus Blackstar (very good bass sound). Great drummer there. Just what I can think of off the top of my head.

Metal isnt going to die anytime soon, it seemed that way around 2000 - around 2004, in some countries maybe the void lasted longer. But the hibernation is over, there's a lot of good stuff out there to discover still.

Well i don´t care much about labels (by that i mean if its blackmetal or whatever), but bands i listen too include : heidevolk, Tyr, Carved in Stone (german), Nordwind, Pagan Altar, Lake of Tears etc. Many of them publish on napalm records, but to be honest, i have no idea who owns that label ^^
I need clear vocals, hard guitar riffs and a good text. Those bands sing about the old was, the old gods and the old sagas. What better music could you listen to ?
There won't be humans in 500 years. Enough people choke themselves when they jerk off we gave it a name. We ain't a species made to last.

Judging by it´s name common sense must once have been a pretty common thing. When and why did that change, so it became the rare treasure it is today???
