I have a march which is named in English "Nazi Book Burning March" does anybody know its name in German (Not just a translation, its real name)?
Most likely the Könniggrätzer Marsch. Probably an extract from Indiana Jones and the last Crusade, where they play it at the book burning scene.Originally posted by Nazzjonalista

Of course the title is crap, because it's no "Nazi" march but an old Prussian march written by Gottlieb Piefke. It reminds of the Prussian victory over the Austrians at Königgrätz in 1866. The last tunes are the Hohenfriedberger Marsch written by Frederick the Great himself after the battle of Hohenfriedberg in the late 18th century.
@Gunnar
Thanks for the explanation, that is definitely it since I have the Könniggrätzer Marsch although not in its entirety. "The Nazi Book Burning March" has a clearer sound so now I'll just change its title. I really like that march.
Actually it's "Königgrätzer" with one "n", sorry for the typo![]()

I used to visit a site that had hundreds of Third Reich Military Marches & songs in Mp3 format to download.
I can't remember the site address. Its opening page was :WAHM..Wehrmacht & Adolf Hitler Music. & had stitched animated flags blazened across the page.
Can anyone help me?![]()
I first wanted to make a search in the Axis History Forum, but soon found out, that this would be quite useless...

I had then a second idea...
