It's much more than that... Google and Facebook were given huge Initial Public Offerings by the Jewish internationalist banking cartel controlled ultimately by the Rothschilds and their minions.
Well this is what I was getting at. You'd need an enormous amount of capital to launch these initiatives and it's pretty obvious who you would have ask for it and what their conditions would be

The Internet in general has become a very sinister place. I sometimes think that the only reason those with 'unorthodox' views were ever allowed onto it was to find out who they were and to ensure that they never got into influential positions. Everything that a user has written since the first day s/he went online has been recorded somewhere and can be retrieved if necessary so there's no chance of any renegades slipping through the vetting system and you can be 100% sure that all those in high places today fulfill all of the political requirements ✓

At the rate things are going the www will soon become a vast left-wing echo chamber with no-one either daring or able to express 'unconventional' views. I'm almost beginning to think that we'll need something else to replace it before very long, or at least find some means of creating an alternative version to the current one being run by radical left-wing tech giants.

I'm not so sure about this, Astra.

The silencing of all traditional/conservative views can never be a good thing. We all know that the public will follow the prevailing wind and once the Marxists have established the same monopoly on the Internet as they've had for decades in the (((mainstream))) media they'll be able to maintain their control well into the future.

I've just found an old thread (from 2012) that I started here about AJ's steadfast refusal to blame the Jews for anything.

On that occasion he was blaming 'Nazis and Pagans' for so many of the world's ills (so he's clearly a complete fruitcake ) but the fact remains that he falls somewhere within the Alt-Right/Conservative/Traditionalist spectrum and has now been silenced as part of a wider campaign to gag all dissenters against the globalist agenda and NWO etc...

So, in the final analysis, what good has his Israel-friendly and pro-Jewish approach done him? I've noticed that the Jews don't reward the support and compliance of others, as many a European Nationalist party (eg. the Front National in France) or individual (eg. Tommy Robinson) have discovered to their cost, so why go down this road?

I think there's an important lesson here!

we’re on a slippery slope of internet censorship

The celebration on the Left at the quick-fire purge of Alex Jones and InfoWars from social media has been disturbing — not because Jones’ views deserve to be defended, but because his banning is a warning shot against dissent.

It’s important to note at the outset that I have no love for Jones whatsoever — lest this be read as some kind of endorsement or defense of InfoWars. It is not.

But this is not about Alex Jones or what he believes. It is about the fact that the Left has willfully decided that massive corporations, working hand-in-glove with government agencies, as we know they do, should be the arbiters of truth and should hold the power to decide what we see, hear, read and believe.

    Normalizing censorship

Just a few days before the Jones ban, journalist Matt Taibbi wrote a piece in Rolling Stone about the slippery slope of Facebook censorship. These corporations, he said, have their hands on what is “essentially a direct lever” over nationwide news distribution. “It’s hard to understate the potential mischief that lurks behind this union of Internet platforms and would-be government censors,” he wrote.

Make no mistake: The US government has the power to exert massive, indirect control over speech and political discourse through social networks — and anyone who argues that Alex Jones is some kind of special case, obviously has not been paying attention. Jones is simply an easy target — a good, high-profile test case, so to speak.

But the rush to stamp out or ridicule dissenting voices goes far beyond extremists like Jones. To understand how ingrained the distaste for any kind of dissent has become in American political discourse, consider the fact that, this week, actress Alyssa Milano suggested that people who voted for the Green Party in a special election in Ohio were actually part of a Russian meddling campaign. There was no other legitimate reason to vote Green, she said. Remember, conspiracy theories are just fine if the targets are deemed acceptable by the establishment.

This neo-McCarthyism has been steadily creeping back into the mainstream for years, but gathered steam with the election of Donald Trump and the onset of Russiagate, which has gripped American political discourse now for the better part of two years. Once-skeptical “liberals” are suddenly in thrall to the benevolent “intelligence community” and are more than happy to brand as a traitor to America anyone who questions its power and innate goodness.

Slowly but surely this kind of toxic and Orwellian political climate numbs people. Suddenly, calling Green voters Russian agents becomes normal. Daring to question the conclusions of the CIA becomes anti-American. Calling for the wholesale banning of figures you don’t like from internet platforms inexplicably becomes a defense of Democracy and free speech — rather than an attack on it.

This is the beginning of the normalization of internet censorship.

    Plans afoot

It is no conspiracy theory to say there are plans afoot for further censorship of the platforms from where two-thirds of Americans get their news on a daily basis.

After news broke of the Jones ban, Democratic Senator Chris Murphy tweeted that InfoWars was “the tip of a giant iceberg of hate and lies” using sites like Facebook to “tear our nation apart” and called on tech companies to “do more” than take down one website. It was so important, he said, that Democracy’s very “survival” depended on it.

That tweet should be terrifying to the left, but somehow, it isn’t. Somehow, we’re at a place where normal, reasonable people arguing against censorship are the ones being branded as fascists and lunatics.

Responding to Murphy’s tweet, journalist Abby Martin issued a reminder that a 2017 report released by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence said her show on RT had sowed “radical discontent” for covering issues like fracking, police brutality and social inequality. This gets to the crux of the issue. It’s not a case of ‘if’ the government might start branding perfectly reasonable dissent and debate as radical and dangerous — it has already happened.

But it wasn’t just Murphy waxing lyrical on Twitter about saving American democracy. There are reportedly actual plans being circulated in Congress for further censorship and regulation of the internet.

A leaked memo drafted by Democratic Senator Mark Warner lists a number of proposals for government intervention online, including forcing platforms to verify identities and locations of accounts, to do more to determine which accounts are “inauthentic” and to “label” bot accounts in some way. Perhaps most hilariously, it also suggests a government-funded initiative for teaching “media literacy” to children from an early age.

    Who decides?

Those cheering Jones’ collective banning at the hands of all-powerful digital overlords should ask themselves a few questions.

Do you really want tech giants, working with governments, to be the ones deciding what constitutes “fake” news? Who gets to decide what a conspiracy theory is? Who gets to decide when something is“real” journalism or when it sows “radical discontent” and “division”and should be banned or labelled as dangerous and divisive hate speech?

To suggest that the “slippery slope” argument doesn’t hold water and that Alex Jones is a unique case is to be blind to reality.

After the Jones ban, journalist Glenn Greenwald wrote on Twitter that anyone “gullible, obsequious and subservient enough to trust Facebook” to determine what constitutes “hate speech” should travel to the West Bank and Gaza.

Last year, after Israel threatened Facebook, representatives from the social media giant met with the Israeli government to decide which Palestinian accounts it should shut down — and since then, as Greenwald reported in the Intercept, Facebook has gone on a “censorship rampage” against Palestinian activists.

Twitter has gotten in on the censorship action, too. The platform has recently been taken to task by Vice News for “shadowbanning” conservative lawmakers on Facebook — not deleting their accounts, but making them harder to find and their tweets less prominent in their followers’ timelines.

    Noble efforts

Some on the progressive left have opposed this creeping censorship, cognizant of the fact that it leads to nowhere healthy, but others have cheered along, perhaps under the naive and totally false assumption that only the right-wing will feel the sting.

Well, they shouldn’t feel so comfortable. Google has already been accused of censoring left-wing and socialist websites. Sites like Alternet, Democracy Now and Counterpunch all experienced huge drops in traffic since Google changed its algorithms to combat “fake news” online.

The most ironic part is that all of this is framed as some kind of noble effort to protect Democracy and truth – and, disturbingly, people are buying into the idea that the government (and the corporations they wield massive control over) are best placed to determine which websites are peddling propaganda, which pundits are manipulating us and what information counts as disinformation.

Regardless of anyone’s views on Alex Jones, we should all be concerned about the precedent his banning sets for online censorship. There’s already more than enough evidence to suggest that he wasn’t the first and won’t be the last casualty.

    Twitter permanently bans Alex Jones

TWITTER HAS PERMANENTLY banned Alex Jones, the far-right conspiracy theorist best known for calling the 9/11 attacks an inside job and describing the Sandy Hook school massacre as a hoax.

The social network had been under pressure to remove Jones following similar moves by fellow tech giants Facebook, YouTube, Spotify and Apple last month.

In a series of tweets from its @TwitterSafety account, it said: “Today, we permanently suspended @realalexjones and @infowars from Twitter and Periscope. “We took this action based on new reports of Tweets and videos posted yesterday that violate our abusive behaviour policy, in addition to the accounts’ past violations.”

Infowars is the website run by Jones.

The ban came after Jones travelled to Washington to attend congressional hearings involving Twitter’s chief executive officer Jack Dorsey and Facebook’s chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg.

He later posted videos showing himself verbally confronting a CNN reporter as well as Republican Senator Marco Rubio in a hallway.

Reacting to his removal on Infowars, Jones said: “I was taken down not because we lie but because we tell the truth,” adding that the incident involving the journalist, Oliver Darcy, may have been the cause of the ban. Jones harangued Darcy for 10 minutes during the confrontation, calling him a “virus to America” and comparing him to a “possum that climbed out of the rear-end of a dead cow.” Darcy had written an article listing incidents where Jones had violated Twitter’s rules.

The ban came a day after President Donald Trump’s administration warned of a possible legal crackdown on big technology companies over political bias in a bombshell announcement that came as the Senate hearing concluded.
Trump famously granted Jones an interview during his presidential campaign, telling him: “Your reputation is amazing” and “I will not let you down.”

    ‘It’s about time’

Twitter had previously resisted calls to remove Jones, who had nearly 900,000 followers, though in August it prevented him from posting on his account for a week.
Once dubbed “the most prolific conspiracy theorist in contemporary America” by the Southern Poverty Law Center, Jones has claimed the 11 September attacks were carried out by the US government and promotes the idea that ethnic minorities are attempting to eradicate the white race.

He has also called the 2012 Sandy Hook school massacre an elaborate hoax involving “crisis actors” as part of a plot to discredit the gun lobby. Gunman Adam Lanza killed 26 people, including 20 children, when he launched his rampage at the Connecticut school.Several of the families have sued the 44-year-old Texan, accusing him of using their suffering to expand his audience. Jones has counter-sued, demanding in turn that they pay his court expenses.

The non-profit Media Matters, a left-leaning watchdog, welcomed Twitter’s move. “Media Matters has monitored Alex Jones longer than anyone and has dozens of documented incidents of him violating the rules with impunity, so the most important thing to be said about his removal from Twitter is: ‘Good. It’s about time.’ “Twitter was the last major tech platform to see what is obvious – Jones used Twitter in clear violation of the rules to perpetuate hate speech and harassment,” it added.

    Bias probe

Jones’ ban from the last major social network to host him could also heighten conservatives’ fears that their viewpoints are being censored online.

The Justice Department’s announcement Wednesday that it would probe Big Tech over competition or political bias appeared to escalate a war between the administration and Silicon Valley after a series of attacks by Trump claiming tech firms were biased against him and others on the right.

According to the statement, Attorney General Jeff Sessions will convene a meeting of state attorneys general later this month “to discuss a growing concern that these companies may be hurting competition and intentionally stifling the free exchange of ideas on their platforms.”

The announcement came at the conclusion of a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing at which Dorsey and Sandberg testified in a largely collegial atmosphere and spoke of the need for further efforts to thwart foreign influence campaigns on social media.

Definition of conspiracy theory is: any account that disagrees with the official government version put out on MSM.

Why don’t we know the truth about: WW I & WWII and the establishment of the jewish state, the jews and the holohoax, the Kennedy assassination, the moon landings, 9/11, etc.

The whole western MSM pushed the “weapons of mass destruction” lie in 2003 for war in Iraq which resulted in the death of a million dead Iraqi men, women and children. No one was held to account for this massive deception and huge resulting crime. Why? Laws only apply downwards. Those in positions of power are above any laws or morality except Trump, because he’s a threat to their power monopoly.
