What a fun thread. Both of my parents were Francophiles, so I listened to a lot of French children's music. These two songs really stick in my mind:

Let us not desire delights, daughters; we are well-off here; the bad inn lasts for only a night.
    -St. Teresa of Avila

I had this when I was really little.

    Grandfather's Clock

This is the song it plays...

    GRANDFATHER'S CLOCK-1876

    In chronological order...

Yes, my very first memories are related to The Beatles!

    And then...

How excited I was about this TV series back then (watching it with the best father in the whole world)!

    And after that I discovered...

Sailor Moon anyone? Season 3 was my favourite (and the first one I had the chance to watch)!

I grew up watching cartoons in many languages... Italian (I still understand Italian, even though I don't speak it)... English... even Japanese...

And I don't know exactly when...

The best folk rock Romanian band of all times!
Die Farben duften frisch und grün... Lieblich haucht der Wind um mich.

I remember that song! I never knew the name, though, so thank you, Huginn ok Muninn.

From the film based on my favourite Roald Dahl book:

This film used to be broadcast every Christmas:

Theme song to one of my favourite cartoons:

Let us not desire delights, daughters; we are well-off here; the bad inn lasts for only a night.
