My question now is: how is the situation now in different countries, can you still find and buy herbal and natural remedies?

The fight is continuing all over Europe...

In Norway it's hard to find any herbal remedies, unless you know well what you're doing and you pick them up yourself from Mother Nature.

In Germany one can still find natural remedies, as far as I know, but I'm not sure about all the details.

In Romania they made it illegal to write the uses of the remedies on the products, you can only buy them as natural supplements, but there are also doctors who practice alternative therapies, including Ayurvedic medicine, so you can still have access to everything under medical guidance and with a medical prescription. So basically in Romania, thanks Gods, one can still have access to herbal remedies, even if under stricter regulations.

What about other European countries? And what about other places, like USA?

What about these, can you still buy them in the UK? Under which circumstances?

You can still buy ashwagandha in the USA, it's really popular in tea form here now. We can still buy everything in your "remedies under threat" quote and a lot of wilder stuff that is more controlled overseas like kava, salvia, etc. We don't have much regulation at all on this because the FDA is banned from evaluating "dietary supplements".

In these days of the www I don't see any bans being totally effective.

You can normally find what you're after if you look hard enough
