Looks like any other wrinkly, toothless, heavily bearded old man.
Genetic tests show that most their current genetic material is hardly more asian than most people continental Europe or Scandinavia for that matter..

Though the utter most of them are fisherman rather than herders. Chances are a fat dose of the fish available at the supermarket is caught by some lapp.

Well, I've never knowingly spoken to a Lapp so I can't even make so much as a generalisation about their personality traits and characteristics. Their traditional culture and religiosity, however, I find fascinating.

I have seen some older images on which they looked like asians/eskimo/inuit. A lot of them today probably look quite european due to intermixing. But I find that many of them still feature quite prominent cheek bones like the man in the first image posted here - indicating their asian admixture.

I don't think this guy looks 'Asiatic' at all, no more Mongoloid than say Bjork.

Actually, the 'squinty eyes' thing, isn't that an environmental evolutionary trait due to extreme cold weather and could've come about independently from any Mongoloid involvement but I do agree that one of the pictures previously shown does look very similar to some people I've seen in Siberia and Greenland.

Ethnic Sami actually vary quite a bit. There are some Sami who look quite Tydal and Western, and others who look very East Baltid.

Sami don't necessarily belong to a Lappoid genotype (aka "Mongoloid"), and people who actually have stronger Lappic traits aren't necessarily Sami at all. Norway has by a massive margin the highest Sami population, and Sami admixture accounts for a lot of the variation there.

The majority of "squinty-eyed" East Baltids don't have full epicanthus like Mongolids do; they have archaic admixture that results in part of their appearance, like this fat anti-Nazi Norwegian East Baltid:

Bjork is part Inuit, clearly... She's no product of the Vikings and the French, that's for sure.

She actually looks quite typical for a Norwegian (certainly not the best looker though). Pallantides has some excellent pictures:

This is not correct. Saami phenotype and genotype are closer to Scandinavian and Finns than to any other populations in the world, however due to genetic founder effect, genetic drift and long isolation the genotype are distant even to neighbouring populations.

The ancestral land you portay is neither correct. The Saami ancestral homeland stretches today from Hedmark in Norway og Dälarna in Sweden all the way to the Ter coast at eastern Kola Penninsula in Russia. If you include linguistic, archeological and historical evidence the ancestral homeland would include a larger area. In the south stretch down to Oslo in Norway, western Norway mountain range, most of Sweden including coastal districts from Stockholm and northward and finally most of Finland and Karelia.

According to this the Swedes and Norwegians conquered alot of land from them, the Saami? Very interesting...
