    There are many similarities, just as there are many differentiations. Not only will continental Germanic mythology share common ground with Slavic mythology but Scandinavian Germanic myths, too, and indeed that of their insular counter-parts on the British Isles, not only this, but Celtic myths, Romance myths and so on and so forth will too show varying degrees of commonality. Try reading into Perkwunos, Wikipedia is a good starting point

    You only have to compare dragon myths...
    Slavic dragons represent forces related to agriculture, and the male/female aspects. Germanic dragons, like Fafnir, sit on hoards of treasure and I believe they represent early capitalists!

    I doubt the Slavs have a Tannhauser or a Ring Cycle. Rings are for gypsies and only witches live underground!
