Had one hell of a problem finding a job in the UK with a South African passport and being an Afrikaner to boot, (I dont regard myself as an Afrikaner nowadays,I would regard it as an insult if I was called that, thanks to De Klerk and Pik Botha et al.) South Africans not being the flavour of the month in those days unlike the so-called "New South Africans" of today, in any case found a job in Cheshire in '85 and been here ever since.
Every time I go back to the brave new world that is South Africa today I see a once God-feariing and moral society sinking deeper and deeper into a morass of iniquity and filth, all in the name of so-called "Democracy" which in fact has become licence for corruption and desecration of all the things we once held dear
