Hello all. My name, as far as this forum is concerned is CelticPhoenix.
I am an Irish, German, Norwegian (approx. 1/3 each) from Seattle, WA, USA. My family's traditions are much more Irish than German or Norwegian.
I only recently found this forum while searching for copies of some of the old racial anthropological treatises (Coon, et al.) on the web. I became especially interested in Germanic history, traditions, and anthropology several years ago, after reading some English translations of the Old Norse sagas.
I am a medieval history buff who enjoys reading, lifting weights, and eating. And I am a biochemistry grad (2009) and am currently interviewing for med school (to begin fall 2011). However, my true passions, besides physical health and diet, are history and anthropology.
In addition, and this may be rare for this site, though perhaps not, I am a strong Catholic. And yet I still am (or, at least I try to be) very unbiased and open to all things from all people.
Good to meet you all.
