I generally dislike using the term 'Slavic' as a sub-racial category as to me it refers only to a cultural-linguistic terminology related to geography.

For example, a 'Slav' from a northern eastern European country may look very different from a 'Slav' from a southern eastern European country, yet the first 'Slav' may look more like a northern 'Germanic' than a northern 'Germanic' may do to a southern 'Germanic'.

In the similar instance I don't generally use the terms 'Germanic' or 'Celtic' as references to race, but again only as cultural-linguistic terminology related to geography.

For example I have met several German people that look *Italian* to me, similarly I have met many Poles and Russians that look very Scandinavian or German.

I normally use the term NORDISH as I find that to be more accurate.



As you can see, the 'mass' of Nordish-ness is centred around northern Europe extending from Ireland to Russia including the UK, northern France, Holland, Germany, the Scandinavian and Baltic countries and several 'Slavic' countries including Poland, Russia and others.



This little girl looks very sweet and she's Polish. She actually looks a lot like my niece when she was younger who of course is English.

This is Rachel Allen, she is an Irish TV celebrity that hosts a number of Food shows here in the UK. I think she captures what I define as a 'true beauty'.



I don't think many people would dispute if Rachel were to introduce the little girl as her 'daughter' or even 'niece' on TV as I do see a similar racial 'look'.

I'm looking at Miss World 2010 contestants and I'm a bit stunned by Russia's entry. Normally I think Russian women look quite attractive as I know a hairdresser and she looks like a model... (guess where I get my hair cut now... hee hee )...

But that's because Russia's entry is part Tatar and not to my liking at all.

Looking at all these girls, the one that stands out the most as a sheer beauty is France.



But she probably won't win, it'll be someone like Zambia or whatever...

Poles, the Czech, Croats (among other Slavic people) use the Latin alphabet.

Russians, Serbs, Bulgarians (among other Slavic people) use the cyrillic alphabet.

That's a 'religious thing'.

Poles etc, are Catholic and so use Latin fonts and Russians etc are Greek Orthodox and use Cyrillic (Greek fonts).

That girl reminds me a bit of Mariska Hargitay and I think her father was Hungarian and her mother is actually Jane Mansfield.

Slavs are diverse people, but the core elements were, from the start, from the point they came into the light of history, Nordoid and Osteuropid (Baltid primarily, Eastbaltid was assimilated among Finno-Ugrians and Westbaltid with Balts).

Obvioulsy, other elements were always present too and when the Slavic ethnolinguistic group expanded as a culture, memetically, they assimilated a lot of people and their racial elements.

To be honest I'm glad we don't win often in those pathetic contests, atleast it could help stop racial others fawning all over our women. True Nordic beauty speaks for itself anyway, we don't need some stupid contest to make us feel better about ourselves like negro women do.

Similar ones were quite widespread in pre-Christian Europe, particularly among Indoeuropeans, here especially among Euro-Iranians (Scythians and the like) and ancient Slavs.

How often do you see people with such facial traits being totally "Un-Nordid".

And that's my point, I'm sometimes really surpised to see other pictures of individuals, if the first was quite misleading and that is true even if you see more of the individual.

So I evaluate what is visible or what I know - f.e. some pictures can look less Nordid, but I know a person personally or from a movie and this is always higher to rate, if you can see someone in action, with mimic and gestic, in 3D etc.

What I can say is just, that what I can see of his face is TYPICALLY NORDID - neither you nor me will see too much other pictures of this guy I guess, so I leave it that way, because it represents something.

Obviously I would always prefer to get clear images from three perspectives.

?? A few of them okay but most clearly don't look like Scandinavians.
