A call has been made for people to come forward and adopt Muslim children of mixed ethnicity who are being overlooked by Birmingham families that express an interest in adoption.
Birmingham City Councils adoption and fostering service says its experiencing a growing number of children from this super diverse background coming into care.
Super diverse children waiting for adoption have birth parents with a combination of African, Caribbean, South Asian, European and British backgrounds.
Potential candidates who are Muslim and of mixed ethnicity or live with a spouse or partner of different ethnic background to their own.
