    Nathan Bedford Forrest

I am related to nathan Forrest. The name Bedford started from a war lord from Norway by the name Beda who settled in a valley with a river running through it. Many years after Beda died they named the town after him in the old Norse language which came out Beda's Fjord. When english was created the name came out as Bedford, and they called the town and area Bedfordshire, England. At present there are 5,000 people in the United States who use the name Bedford Brown and Bedford Alvis Brown. These numbers do not include people who use Bedford, and Alvis in their which are still related to Beda....Best wishes to all.....Bedford
