What Is/Was Your Favorite Videogame?

I have two, and I mainly like them because they take me back to my childhood. The same is true about some of my favorite songs.

I really liked Turok: Dinosaur Hunter, the first of it's series for the N64 as well as Super Mario 64. The first Turok game was probably the only game I ever played that had any real mystery to it.

Final Fantasy IX. Fantastic story line, character development, soundtrack, style and charm. A true classic.

There are tons more that I love, though. Duke Nukem 3D. Perfect Dark. Silent Hill. Banjo Kazooie. Tales of Symphonia. Timesplitters 2. Currently I'm playing a lot of Battlefield: Bad Company 2, I love a good multiplayer.

I have never played a video game in my life. I had a work permit at the age of fourteen(my father had ill health, cancer). I have always had more than one job, beginning then in my young teens. I worked my way through college, even though I had full university scholarships. If I had any leisure time at all, I spent it babysitting either my own kin's children or friends children. I also love to read. I also love physical sports, swimming, running, soccer, basketball, and baseball. I really don't care for television. I think the internet is a great invention.

That would be Fallout 3 without a doubt! I have played through the main game 3 times and is currently busy with the Broken steel add-on. 200+ hours and counting... I just played through Red Dead Redemption as well, it was a good game overall but I was a bit disappointed with it. Don't get me wrong I loved it but it lacked that something special like the Fallout series has. Other favourites include BF Bad Company 1&2, Bioshock, Grand Theft Auto series and Far Cry2.

Yip those games are still quite good! I got Space invaders and Pacman on my cellphone and still play them often. One game we definitely should not forget is Tetris, perhaps the most played game of all time!

I like the concept and story behind the Assassin's Creed series a lot, although the game play of the first one was a bit repetitive.

The two first Age of Empires games and Command & Conquer: Red Alert was my favorite strategy games when I was a kid, and I still play them from time to time.

And of course, it's hard to beat FIFA with a couple of friends and a beer at hand.

Growing up I loved Baldur's Gate also. The first game I ever played was Ski Or Die, on a Windows 3.11 machine. Other great games that come to mind are Ultima, specifically Ultima 7 and Ultima Underworld 1. Beneath A Steel Sky was also a favourite because of its dystopia genre but I disliked parts where you felt like you were trying to think what the programmers were thinking, rather than it being intuitive.

I'm currently replaying Final Fantasy VII, Morrowind, and the original Colonisation (not the new one!). I'm also playing Vampire The Masquerade - Redemption, the first in the vampire series that spawned Vampire The Masquerade - Bloodlines which I played a couple of years ago and absolutely loved (which is part 2 in the series and based in the modern age rather than part 1 which is based in the dark ages).

I installed Freelancer last night but it doesn't seem to want to run on my XP system

My all time favourite game has to be Master of Orion 2, based purely on how many hours I've spent playing it. Rome: Total War would have to be a close second.
